Tonight - Evening catching up with sky +, and Indian takeaway, and a few cheeky Gin's!!

Tomorrow - Off shopping around lunchtime, and in the evening going into London for a meal with all the family and off to the Theatre for my wifes birthday.

Sunday - Over the in-laws with all the family for Sunday Lunch and then football in the evning!

Not much on. Shame the birthday weekend fell on Wednesday away as it was one of the matches I wanted to go to, but on second thoughts after the MK game.... the theatre and a free meal wins!!

Spending my weekend stalking Saints fans on an innernetz forum.

Going to start pointless threads like 'where did you meet your missus', 'what's your favourite colour', 'what pie do you like best' etc etc.

When I find someone with similar tastes to mine, I'm gonna find out where they live and murder them with an axe.

as usual with this saints forum, no one actually going to the match then!

correct, but everyone will be commenting on how sh*t everyone was, how Hammond was poor again, how Puncheon has failed to deliver, Lambert should be dropped as he is not fit and how we will not be promoted this season or ever. Or the other end of the specturm should be avoid defeat or heaven forbid, actually win, a tub thumping 'we have turned the corner' series of posts with players who last week were the football equivilent of Satan now being hailed as Jesus and promtion is a certainty.

Tonight I'm working 5 until about 3.30. Will get home about 5, if the bus actually turns up, and then I have to be at Kings Cross to get the 9.55 train to Sheffield. Going to be pretty tired. A few good beers should wake me up though, and by the game I should be awake and serverly intoxicated. I'll then drink a lot more after the game, and probably stop in a pub in London when I get off the train. Then going to a house party. Sunday is for sleeping/recovering.

Original Plan:

Tonight - Pack for Hong Kong for 2 weeks of work out there.

Sat - Fly out to Hong Kong and get promptly bevvied up on arrival.

Sun - Take a look at job whilst sussing where the nearest boozers are.

Mon - Start work on the boat and finish ASAP to get into the aforementioned nearest boozer.

Hong Kong Cancelled, now travel to Batam Island (Indonesia) in 3 weeks time so... Revised Plan:

Tonight - Play a bit of Snooker with the old man.

Sat - Take my daughter to kids indoor play thingy and just get her out and about for the day.

Sun - Take family over me old dear's, where my little girl will tire me out by making me bounce repeatedly on the trampoline.

Mon - Back to work.

What's actually going to happen:

Tonight - Go play Snooker with the old man, sink a shot load of beer as I'm thoroughly peeved off after a barney with the missus.

Sat - Fit new kitchen door as I put my fist through our current one after a barney with the missus.

Sun - Go to old dears alone as my missus is a tw*t.

Mon - Back to work.

Can you see the pattern of it gradually going downhill?

I'm off to my old university college tomorrow for a reunion dinner, class of '68 and all that. I've dropped in to M&S to get a larger pair of trousers for my dinner jacket or else I won't be able to eat anything. It'll be good to catch up with all my old mates again. They are all respectable upright citizens now, county-court judges, film producers, captains of industry and all that sort of thing, yet I remember them as a load of 19-year old ****heads. The frightening thing is the way that the buildings won't have changed a bit, but all the bodies will have withered and faded, those of us that are left. I'm quite looking forward to it. :)

I can see, and this is what happens with me. I plan some great things with the family and then when it comes to the day find that we do nothing!! It is so easy just to chill as it is the weekend!
