Redbul Posted 20 September, 2010 Posted 20 September, 2010 What is the music being played when Martin pours the bottle of whisky over his father's grave? It's not on either of the OSTs and it doesn't seem to be mentioned in the credits. The only lyric that is a recurrent theme is along the lines of 'Someone get me outta here....' Doesn't help much but it's all I've got to go on.... Google searches and Shazam have failed me.... I thought I'd call upon the wealth of knowledge here!!!!
swannymere Posted 20 September, 2010 Posted 20 September, 2010 It's not actually a song! It's part of the score which Joe Strummer supplied to the movie and only features two lines - "I say somebody will find a way outta here, here's hoping somebody can find a way outta here" or some think it is "I pray somebody will get us outta here, I'm hoping somebody will get us outta here". Either way its not available.
Redbul Posted 21 September, 2010 Author Posted 21 September, 2010 Cheers Swannymere!!!! Watched the film last night and that was bugging me. You'd have thought that it would have been put on one of the OSTs even though it's only a couple bars long. Oh well....
OLYMPIC Posted 21 September, 2010 Posted 21 September, 2010 Their is also a volume 2 of the soundtrack but still not on there.
