Secret Site Agent Posted 20 September, 2010 Posted 20 September, 2010 Nothing like sticking to your guns, eh, Red Tops. Didn't take long, are they just a) Feeling sorry for us b) Blame Alan Pardew for the photographer ban c) We're letting the photographers back in d) Nicola is just too tough for them e) They forgot. Answers on a post card please. Or here if you wish.
Badger Posted 20 September, 2010 Posted 20 September, 2010 (edited) BBC said in their coverage on Saturday that the photographers ban "had been lifted". so option f)Nicola graciously stepped down or g) Nicola capitulated and did a 'u' turn depending on your starting view of NC. Hatch Posted 20 September, 2010 Posted 20 September, 2010 We are crap so they think it would be more embarrassing by printing our name.

Sorry pal but simply - and this is fact - Cortese went to News International 2 weeks ago to meet Mike Dunn, The Sun's sport editor, after the meeting NC lifted the ban and gave them the heads up about adkins. I've heard a few things about that meeting and it seems our "hard nosed" Chairman is actually not very hard nosed at all and appreciated the Sun are far more influential than he first thought. He admitted he made a big mistake taking on the media (the Sun especially) and has backed down - good on him.

At least he was prepared to change his stance when he realised he had f*cked up, fair play for that.

F) Cortese, made a stunningly bad business decision, that ended up costing the Club money and he had to go crawling to the powers that be and apologise, back down and take one for the team. Definately F.

COMEONYOUREDS Posted 20 September, 2010 Posted 20 September, 2010 The photo ban has definitely been lifted. Echo used pics from SMS at the weekend for the first time this season
Mr saint Posted 20 September, 2010 Posted 20 September, 2010 So, after all that fuss, how many photos did the Sun publish of us today? I would guess, 0?* Quelle surprise! * Ok, I don't read or buy the sun, so I might be wrong. But I expect I'm right.
