It scares the bejeesus out of me to think that Palin may one day end up with her finger on the launch button of the world's biggest nuclear arsenal. What worries me even more is that there are millions of Americans who genuinely believe she would make a good president :uhoh:

Fortunately I am sure there are more Americana’s who think she and her absurd TEA party are an embarrassment to their nation and so she will not get voted in. I had dinner with a US colleague last week and he is very happy with Palin as he believes it will benefit Obhama and improve his chance of a 2nd term.

That video is priceless! Bumbling her way through the interview and the line "our next door neighbours are foreign countries" is fantastic. The thought of someone like Palin being President and the most powerful individual in the world truly terrifies me.
lets all laugh at the Yanks, after all we had jack Straw Lol

That is unfair. She's no different Dubya in that they are both intelligent, but see no reason to make a show of it.

Er even McCain's allies are aware of her level of intellgence

The woman was purely a publicity stunt in a failed attempt to win McCain the last American election. Still, at least they didn't rig it like Bush did.

Tea lacks punch in Delaware as Coons wins Senate

WILMINGTON, Del. — "I'm you," Christine O'Donnell said in her first campaign ad. On Tuesday, Delaware voters responded: No, you're not.

The Republican who rode tea party support from obscurity to a stunning primary win lost badly to Democrat Chris Coons

She was pretty thick Dune and a nutjob to boot.

Speaking of which, favourite Sharron Angle in Nevada another teabagger casualty. I'm no big fan of Harry Reid but was mightily relieved that we don't have a retard as senator this morning.

Ah well, the real prize is in 2012 when hopefully Sarah Palin will become president. That'd be hilarious.

A statement to unite the left and extreme right. Only the moderate right might beg to differ...

I hope she runs. As Dune says, that'd be hillarious.

seems like the Obama dream is coming to an end....

oh well..

Obama is the US version of Tony Blair - all fart and no sh*t.

Anyone who claims Palin is ugly is mental. As long as she keeps her gob shut, that is.

I'm not concerned: Both Clinton and Reagan took batterings in their first mid-terms and look at how they long lasted...

Agreed. It remains to be seen just who the Republicans put up against Obama in the full elections in two years time.

True... but what scares me is that in both 83, and 95 the economic low-point had been reached, and jobs and growth were begining to bolster public opinion... As there don't appear to be many signs of recovery yet, if Obama doesn't turn things about rapidly, he will be entering the begining of electioneering with large numbers out of work... IMO, unless the economy picks up soon, the TEA party extremists might be the only way for Obama to win a second term (if this were to happen it might end up being a bit like Le Pen, with centralists (of both left and right) voting for the only moderate choice to prevent the extreme right from gaining power).

Come on guys, firstly Sarah can see Russia from her house which is everything she needs to know about foreign affairs.

Secondly, anyone who names her well endowed daughter Bristol is okay with me ...
