Scummer Posted 3 October, 2008 Share Posted 3 October, 2008 Ok, so imagine you're Gordon Brown. You are doing poorly in the polls, and people seem to really dislike your party. You are having a cabinet reshuffle, a good chance to reinvigorate things. I know, lets bring Peter back, people love him!!!! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7650013.stm
Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 3 October, 2008 Share Posted 3 October, 2008 Just the person we need in this time of mortgage crisis. He knows what to do.
Hatch Posted 3 October, 2008 Share Posted 3 October, 2008 Just shows how lacking in depth Labour is.
Scudamore Posted 3 October, 2008 Share Posted 3 October, 2008 Just shows how lacking in depth Labour is. Just goes to show how many vaguely likeable politicians there are
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 3 October, 2008 Share Posted 3 October, 2008 Just the person we need in this time of mortgage crisis. He knows what to do. Which reminds me, I'm going to see Fiddler On The Roof soon. Or maybe not.
Sheaf Saint Posted 3 October, 2008 Share Posted 3 October, 2008 The fact that he has been representing the UK's interests in europe for the last couple of years is scary enough. Now he is going to be Business Secretary FFS! GB must surely know what the general opinion of Mandelson is. He has been sacked or 'forced to resign' from the cabinet not once but twice in the past. Brown should write a book called How To Lose an election in Three Easy Steps.
Special K Posted 3 October, 2008 Share Posted 3 October, 2008 A masterstroke. The only policitician who is bound to **** up more than Brown without even trying, thereby deflecting attention away from the morose Sweaty.
