booo, paid £50 for mine weeks and weeks ago. When I went to the T20 finals day I was pished off with the 2 for 1 offer.

Feel cheated that booked way in advance and am now being penalised.

Just to make you feel better, my free tickets are in the Member's Enclosure.

Big decision coming up. DO I dig out some weird Arabic fancy dress? Or do I just wear the Saints Shirt?

One thing I do know, having watched tonight's game, I'm gonna pack a fleece and my thermals, feck it's 37C here and even the locals looked frozen at the Oval.

better get my mate to take a nice flask of hot soup. Think the Dubai Saints flag is going to have to make the trip - I'm in row AA, (yes members enclosure and no they cost fecking 65 quid) no intention of hanging the flag up though - I'll have it wrapped round my lap to keep warm!

Well done to Umar Gul tonight, may still have a contest with edge to it Wednesday

Well I guess you can either choose to have people point & laugh at you all day...... or you can choose to wear the Arabic Fancy dress.

I'm after some advice guys.

I've not been to the Rosebowl before.

I'm coming from Salisbury with a mate and his (very) young boy.

Obviously we'd like a couple of drinks and would prefer not to drive so we want to take the train.

How do we get from Southampton central station to the ground.

Thanks in advance.

Train to Southampton Parkway. Free bus service straight to the Rose Bowl. Same on the way back.

So what is the consensus? Should we wear our Saints Shirts with Pride (in the face of abuse from other Hogs) or are we in Civvies?

Hope it doesn't finish Too Late - am a bit worried about the last train back to Salisbury, but hopefully the crowd not being expected to be massive may mean the Park & Ride gets us away to Parkway promptly.

Overnight flight - little sleep, Match starts at 5:30 my body clock time and continues to 12:45 am body clock time, lots of beer & Sunshine.

You'll all find me easy enough - I'll be the one snoring noisily in the members section by the interval - better get my mate to Video it for me!

I shouldn't wear your Saints shirt Phil...... 'word on the street' is that it is to blame for our current run of poor form.

Go Arabic!

Okey dokey. Will see if I can fit the Dish Dash in, will need to find some monopoly money to wave as well though - in case there are any skates around. Oh crud, no that won't work, I had a shave today - the arabic doesn't look right without 4 days stubble

So then looks like my 2007 World Cup England T-Shirt - has a 100% win record when I wear it to watch games (ie once) & my official Barmy Army Cap. Sorted

The sash can wait to see what happens Saturday at the owls

Your wardrobe choices have instilled me with confidence.

PS. If we all miss the last train, we could share a taxi back to Smallsbury.

We may also have an emergency back up plan involving a mate with a Viana. He is likely working ferrying people to & from the ground but the back up is he will collect us from a pub in emergency

You have a PM

That is rather annoying. Can any bright sparks tell me another way to get from Southampton Parkway to the Rosebowl?

Not sure if that is just from the Park & Ride but still going from airport parkway. Would be stupid to not run the buses from the train station.

On the Park & Ride front, I've checked with them today.

The Park & Ride A facility is shut for people driving, can only use P&R B off Junction 8.

HOWEVER, free shuttle buses are running from Parkway and Hedge End as normal. Round at a friends in Eastleigh at the moment and all the signage has been put up advertising P&R shut, but buses still running.

I'll be on a bus at approximately 12:00. HTH.

What a bloody good day out. First time at Rosebowl for about 3 years, wow what a great job they have done with the place.

Great place to watch cricket, Ringwood best on tap and an actually not bad lunch in the back of the Pavillion.

Good to have met some other TSW'ers there, only blemish was a bloke who hadn't seen a train timetable in 17 years trying to read one after a day on the beer and ending up going from Romsey back to Southampton Central.

Thanks to the Echo Paparazzi for stalking me (no honest!, couldn't have written the script for that any better) Was so tempted to say "Well speaking on behalf of TSW p*ssheads" my view on Cheating Bstds is... But then I thought of NI & we just collapsed laughing again.

And great big respect to the guys who upgraded us to Corp Hosp. As if we NEEDED any more beer at that time.

Good game, great knock by Morgan & stunning run out the highlights. Great to see we thrashed the feckers in the end though, justice was served.

And for those PC types who ever wondered, the way the Pakistani fans treated Trott after everything ENghlish Criocket has tried to do to help them and stand by them this year was a total disgrace.

To think that if the English fans had greeted members of the Opposition like that there would have been arrests and questions in "The House".

After that my view on Pakistan and their fans as an International Cricket Team - Feck off and don't ever come back. The world doesn't need you you ungrateful cheating sods
