Turkish Posted 13 September, 2010 Share Posted 13 September, 2010 has anyone ever done this? I did my first class tonight and it is f*cking hard work. I thought i was quite fit until about 30 minutes in and my legs virtually seized up. Loved it though and will be going back next week. The toughest class i have ever done was circuit training at the old Solent Health club in lodge road, taken by a guy called Ty who was some sort of ex army and Fire service PT instuctor and it showed, killer of a class but did the trick. A hour of intesive, sprints, press ups, sit ups, dips etc.
bridge too far Posted 13 September, 2010 Share Posted 13 September, 2010 If you really want to work out to the point of being unable to walk or stand, try a ballet class Many years ago, some footballers did this with a Russian Ballet company. They couldn't cope. I used to get a number of amateur footballers, athletes and weight-lifters at my fitness classes. They couldn't cope. Or try this: http://www.zumba.com/us/

GenevaSaint Posted 14 September, 2010 Share Posted 14 September, 2010 Spinning is f**king tough work - one of the hardest classes I've done, but really addictive. The good thing is though, you make it as tough as you want from a resistance perspective. Oh so addictive, had a mate who would do two sessions in a row Used to go to a Holmes place gym with a purpose built studio. Banging dance tracks, all black inside with enough disco/strobe lights to have run New York New York in it's prime. Bloody awesome. Never found anything like that in the UK yet.
