Dog Posted 13 September, 2010 Share Posted 13 September, 2010 I have just found my Air Miles card in the back my desk at work. I know I have just over 10,000 miles on it, which I know isn't a lot really, however I will not be collecting anymore and I would like to cash them in for 6 bottles of wine or some other rubbish gift. The problem is I cannot find a telephone number or website that does anything other than free flights. Help.

Baj Posted 13 September, 2010 Share Posted 13 September, 2010 Nope, I still use airmiles quite regularly. Dog, If you're not joking, let me know what wine you want and ill buy it for you and you can transfer the airmiles to my account
View From The Top Posted 13 September, 2010 Share Posted 13 September, 2010 10,000 Airmiles. I'll match Baj's wine and add a mega sized bag of twiglets. PM me for a cash deal.
Dog Posted 13 September, 2010 Author Share Posted 13 September, 2010 Not joking! I know I had enough to get to Australia, but not back and I fear spiders and Abo's. The cash deal sounds good, but if I blow Baj out he'll infract me to death. I am going out now for a bit of dogging and I wont be back till early doors. So PM me your best offers and I will digest them with my eggs benedict in the morning. Winner will be notified by PM around lunchtime.
buctootim Posted 13 September, 2010 Share Posted 13 September, 2010 (edited) Blow out the middle man Dog. Go direct here http://www.airmiles.co.uk/travel/searchDaysOut.do Go to the 'days out' section. Under the 'Activities' option go to wine cases (yeah i know it make no sense). dubai_phil Posted 13 September, 2010 Share Posted 13 September, 2010 We have a local Franchise, Air Miles Middle East. I have 327,462 miles on it. I called them last week and asked what I could buy for this. Not much they replied, about the only thing you can get for that is Portsmouth Football Club, but you would have enough left over for 3 round the world trips. Whitey Grandad Posted 13 September, 2010 Share Posted 13 September, 2010 Use the miles for air tickets. I'm in Bermuda at the moment. Two return tickets for just over 13,000 miles and that includes all the airport charges and taxes.

Dog Posted 14 September, 2010 Author Share Posted 14 September, 2010 Baj thanks for your kind offer, you would've won. However I have just telephoned Air Miles and asked them how many miles are in fact on my card, to which they replied, 'sorry sir, because you haven't added any miles in the last 2 years, all your miles have been wiped, this is how we work.' ****s!!!! Air miles card in shredder now, gutted!! Thanks for all your time.
