Hatch Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 hasn't got his own thread yet! Got to admit, never heard of him. Says on wiki he is registered as a player as well. Anyone remember his playing days at all?
Channon's Sideburns Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Any truth in the rumour he's Bing's son?
MrMojoRisin Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Great a manger who is by trade a physio and a muppet of an assistant, GREAT TIMES AHEAD! NOT.
Scummer Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Who was assistant manager at Scunny before Crosby then? He only seems to have taken on the role last year.
Hatch Posted 13 September, 2010 Author Posted 13 September, 2010 Only missed one penalty in his career, but scored from rebound. So, a better record than that clown we used to have.

SW5 SAINT Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Are we allowed to sign him as a player outside the transfer window?
Ken Tone Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 And here he is with the new club doctor and goalkeeping coach..... For the younger ones out there, google will be your friend. As but is he Still Nashing his teeth? They're not Young any more. "Love the manager you're with"
S-Clarke Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Great a manger who is by trade a physio and a muppet of an assistant, GREAT TIMES AHEAD! NOT. have a word with yourself.
Professor Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Andy Crosby is reported to have made a great impact as a defender at Scunny when he went there in 2004, when he was already 31. He's known as 'Crozzer' and is said to be regarded as something of a club legend. Seems he did more than just play and was a great motivator for the team. He continues Saints' Brighton link (Wilkins, Harding, Hammond) as he was a Brighton player for 4 years. Adkins clearly has a high regard for Crosby, and whatever anyone says about Adkins he is certainly no fool.
Miltonaggro Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 To be honest I don't think Crosby is there to arrange the flowers, I rather think he is Bud White to Nigel's Ed Exley...
Saints67 Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Wikipedia has been updated to say he's registered as a player and has the number 42! Hmmmmmmmmm
Saint Fan CaM Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Wikipedia has been updated to say he's registered as a player and has the number 42! Hmmmmmmmmm Perhaps that's part of the coaches strategy to knock some sense into our defenders and show them what getting fit means - play well, or you'll be replaced by our veteran Asst. Manager to show you how!
S-Clarke Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Wikipedia has been updated to say he's registered as a player and has the number 42! Hmmmmmmmmm Crosby was player/coach at S****horpe, but was only used in emergencies - he hasn't featured much in the last year.
ART Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 I'm sure he was the Crosby in Crosby, Stiffs and Naffs/ and didn't he used to be in the Byrds too, flying Eight Miles High with his Tambourine Man mate.
saintjay77 Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Crosby not Cosby Do we have a whoosh moment?
gonzo Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Great a manger who is by trade a physio and a muppet of an assistant, GREAT TIMES AHEAD! NOT. Why write them off before they've even begun?? Scu nthorpe did pretty bloody well for a club of their stature with Adkins and Crosby in charge. I for one am very happy we've got them here.
the saint in winchester Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 oh come on, it was funny. It made me giggle like a girl.
the saint in winchester Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Crosby not Cosby I was referencing the Crosby / Cosby debate FWIW. How many of us had fantacies about Clair Huxtable-Cosby? Ohh, just me then.
saint_stevo Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 I am glad someone found it funny...... I actually laughed as i was doing it, and have been periodically checking back to check out any acclaim
the saint in winchester Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 I did, Stevo, I did. It would have been a coffee on the screen moment, only I wasn't drinking coffee. But it made me laugh. That with Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young as well ... it became a 'where are they now' moment.
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 14 September, 2010 Posted 14 September, 2010 And here he is with the new club doctor and goalkeeping coach..... For the younger ones out there, google will be your friend. But where's Y?
Greenridge Posted 14 September, 2010 Posted 14 September, 2010 Wikipedia has been updated to say he's registered as a player and has the number 42! Hmmmmmmmmm Do you think he'll Level with us?
Andyb1 Posted 14 September, 2010 Posted 14 September, 2010 Great a manger who is by trade a physio and a muppet of an assistant, GREAT TIMES AHEAD! NOT. *****
Burnsie Posted 14 September, 2010 Posted 14 September, 2010 Unless the unusual situation emerges whereby our assistant manager is on loan from another club, he surely can't be registered as a player
Smirking_Saint Posted 14 September, 2010 Posted 14 September, 2010 Great a manger who is by trade a physio and a muppet of an assistant, GREAT TIMES AHEAD! NOT.
