hasn't got his own thread yet! ;)

Got to admit, never heard of him. Says on wiki he is registered as a player as well.

Anyone remember his playing days at all?

Only missed one penalty in his career, but scored from rebound.

So, a better record than that clown we used to have.

This guy never missed ANY penalties for us...

Andy Crosby is reported to have made a great impact as a defender at Scunny when he went there in 2004, when he was already 31. He's known as 'Crozzer' and is said to be regarded as something of a club legend. Seems he did more than just play and was a great motivator for the team. He continues Saints' Brighton link (Wilkins, Harding, Hammond) as he was a Brighton player for 4 years.

Adkins clearly has a high regard for Crosby, and whatever anyone says about Adkins he is certainly no fool.

Wikipedia has been updated to say he's registered as a player and has the number 42! Hmmmmmmmmm

Perhaps that's part of the coaches strategy to knock some sense into our defenders and show them what getting fit means - play well, or you'll be replaced by our veteran Asst. Manager to show you how!

Crosby was player/coach at S****horpe, but was only used in emergencies - he hasn't featured much in the last year.

I'm sure he was the Crosby in Crosby, Stiffs and Naffs/ and didn't he used to be in the Byrds too, flying Eight Miles High with his Tambourine Man mate.

Why write them off before they've even begun?? Scu nthorpe did pretty bloody well for a club of their stature with Adkins and Crosby in charge. I for one am very happy we've got them here.
