SO16_Saint Posted 12 September, 2010 Author Posted 12 September, 2010 ??? There were rumours passed up as fact that MoN had rented a flat in Winch. A joke just isn't the same when you have to explain yourself.

cellone Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 (edited) Ah. A p1ssing contest thread. Solidarity or banal one-upmanship. Which is the way forward? Edited 13 September, 2010 by cellone Correcting error rightly pointed out by NorthmSteve. Phew

saint_mears Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Lets up the flat is free to let again at christmas
Junction 9 Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Not one to complain but shouldn't this be in the buy/sell forum? Anyway I'm interested but there seems to be some confusion over the description. Is it a flat or a 4 bed house? Wouldn't be interested in the house for cost reasons but would like some more deatils if it's a flat, ecpecially if it's a city centre location. I don't have PM facility I'm afraid.
Turkish Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 It seems this 'joke' is lost on most of you.
MongoNeil Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 It seems this 'joke' is lost on most of you. Made me laugh, even funnier that some people thought the OP was serious.
Dr Who? Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Also reckon that Costa Coffee are going to see a shapre fall in turnover now.... that Costa may not be there much longer, best get down to it!
SO16_Saint Posted 13 September, 2010 Author Posted 13 September, 2010 Im not gonna bother next time!!
RonManager Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 I once rented a flat in Winchester. And do you know what - I never became the manager of Saints either. Spooky.
once_bitterne Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Anyone who really thought that MoN would ever consier managing a L1 club needs sectioning for their own safety. If you ever need proof that most of the rumours that swirl around football are made up ****** then how about the one that Holloway applied for the job? He is a manager who has spent his career in the lower leagues but is currently having the time of his life pitting his wits against the likes of Fergie in the Prem. If anyone really thought he had applied for the job then sectioning would be too kind, it's padded cell time.
Norm Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Thank you so much for this thread! It gave me a good giggle.
The9 Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Anyone who really thought that MoN would ever consier managing a L1 club needs sectioning for their own safety. Other than 1994/5 presumably ?
Micky Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Sweepstake on the number of replys before thread closed...?? 32.
SNSUN Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Contract signed - O'Neill's stuck living there for another two months... :-)
Deano6 Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Is it near the station? You said it was near the city centre, but you know how property listings can be. I need to commute to London every day so that's a biggie for me, and I don't want to have to pay parking every day. What price are you asking too? I think you need to be realistic given the property market crash and you don't want to price yourself out of the market. Not saying I'm definitely interested, but I'd like to hear more. Can you email me at whizzerandchips@hotmail.com (I don't have PM facility).

Tony F Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Need to add a response to try and get this thread to magic 32
SO16_Saint Posted 13 September, 2010 Author Posted 13 September, 2010 Sorry for the lateness of the reply, been in talks with a few people. There's a possibility that I will be moving t'up north to a little place outside Hull, Scvnthorpe, as a vacancy has arisen this week. Anywho - back to the flat. It is centrally located with secure underground parking. I've tied myself in to the flat for 3 years as that was what was offered to me by the potential employers. Am looking to cover the rent down here as I dint think the salary oop north will be as attractive so gotta watch the pennies. P.s anyone know what Wales is like? There's talk of a job there too maybe?
Tony F Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 Come on Bridgey - leave off - you're role playing this thread far too well. There are people that simply won't be able to keep up with you .... !!

I feel that should count for something should the flat turn out to be something I'll proceed with. That's only fair?
rallyboy Posted 13 September, 2010 Posted 13 September, 2010 could I just point out to anyone who will listen, I was offered this flat first and turned it down*. Mainly because I think the guy upstairs might be noisy and troublesome. I'm now returned to my little seaside bedsit and the neighbours think I'm some sort of hero as a result. *not verified as factual
Tokyo-Saint Posted 14 September, 2010 Posted 14 September, 2010 The only person that can get to the bottom of this is Kaiser Soze, he has his man in the know and will be able to tell us exactly how much MON wants for the place an how long the contract is. Come n NC get in touch with him nowwwwwww!
Tony F Posted 14 September, 2010 Posted 14 September, 2010 Sweepstake on the number of replys before thread closed...?? 32. You've missed the mark, sir.....we are now at 34. (Mind you, two of them are mine - just drawing attentiin to the post count - perhaps they shouldn't count?)
dubai_phil Posted 14 September, 2010 Posted 14 September, 2010 Is the flat avaialbel for a short term rent? It's just I managed to book my return from a conference in the US to co-incide with the Cherry home game (if they can afford the petrol) and as I will have flown over night I could do with getting my head down for a couple of hours, and seems Jury's Inn just don't have decent 3 hour rates) I keep googling MON so I could get intouch but seem to get the answer Hoots. Anyone help?
