I did something very similar once a couple of years ago. The 'keeper saved the pen and it deflected up and skimmed the front of the bar. It went straight up about 20 feet, then down again landing about a foot in front of the line. The top spin it gained from hitting the bar bounced it over the line, whilst the 'keeper was off having a fag.

 

Wondered if anything similar had ever happened in a pro game, now I know.
