Saint_clark Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 That's what Solent said. That's what MERRINGTON said. He went to the left of the pitch because that is where the throw in was being taken.
Thedelldays Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 That's what Solent said. then they said he trotted over to the middle in the "hole"
DrunkenSaint Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Puncheon coming off for Do Prado. Why do mamagers play ppl out of position? he's a f'ing ACM player!
Thedelldays Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 merrington getting hysterical about who brought Guly in.......the commentatoe replies...err pardew..?
Liquidshokk Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 I have no confidence in Guly in front of goal. At the Rochdale game he was right in front of goal and rather than going for it he passed and gave it away. Noone wants to shoot...
dubai_phil Posted 11 September, 2010 Author Posted 11 September, 2010 DM going off on one about Guly not being Waigo and being brought in by NC - WTF - it is the match commentary Dave. Leave it until later. You did the same last week. STFU DURING the match about politics
itchen_dan Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 What is Wilkins obsession with Mills?? You have Dickson on the bench who can do a far better job!
Hamilton Saint Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 That's what Solent said. But then they said he'd moved into the middle.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Joseph mills to come on now!
dubai_phil Posted 11 September, 2010 Author Posted 11 September, 2010 I have no confidence in Guly in front of goal. At the Rochdale game he was right in front of goal and rather than going for it he passed and gave it away. Noone wants to shoot... In the Rochdale game he was on the edge of the box, got a cut back from RL, looked up and curled it just over the bar.
Liquidshokk Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Only goal difference keeping us off the bottom
alpine_saint Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 What is Wilkins obsession with Mills?? You have Dickson on the bench who can do a far better job! Dont worry, probably the last game where Wilkins calls the shots...
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 What is Wilkins obsession with Mills?? You have Dickson on the bench who can do a far better job! He is clueless, not obsessed...just stupid... Get a "manager" in now
Saint Without a Halo Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Has their keeper made a save yet? Dont recollect one!
Saint Fan CaM Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Sounds like EXACTLY the same subs/tactics used when we got beaten last weekend. Utterly, utterly clueless is Wilkins - we desperately need the Manager in ASAP next week.
dubai_phil Posted 11 September, 2010 Author Posted 11 September, 2010 Why do mamagers play ppl out of position? he's a f'ing ACM player! Puncheon was playing in the middle - we have been playing 4-3-2-1. So it was a like for like substitution
Saint_clark Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Sounds like EXACTLY the same subs/tactics used when we got beaten last weekend. Utterly, utterly clueless is Wilkins - we desperately need the Manager in ASAP next week. Considering the formation was completely different, I don't think anyone can accuse Wilkins of not changing things.
sfc1976 Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Can't believe what's happened to us. So depressing.
itchen_dan Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Dont worry, probably the last game where Wilkins calls the shots... Hope so. To me he has shown less tactical awareness and worse use of subs than Pardew did. Pardew used subs with about 5 mins to go but Wilkins brings on the wrong ones with 20-15 mins to go.
SO16_Saint Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 5 mins of normal time left. Still time. Look at Everton!
patred44 Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 We've gone of the boil since the subs came on:rolleyes:
Saint Charlie Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Just have no good options on the bench - will have to use the loan market very well.
.comsaint Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Going to form so far: Wilkin's 3 games in charge:- Lost 3-0 Lost 2-0 Losing 1-0 If he was in charge for the next game - put a few bob on a 0-0 bore draw!
Saint Fan CaM Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Considering the formation was completely different, I don't think anyone can accuse Wilkins of not changing things. Err, well I f-ing well can. The subs and timings of subs same as last week. The bloke is a liability at the moment - hope he's let go if/when Adkins comes in.
alpine_saint Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Just have no good options on the bench - will have to use the loan market very well. Yep, that bench looked p*ss-poor today.
L1Minus10 Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Is Morgan still on? We need a player like him on when we need a goal.
CanadaSaint Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 We clearly have a fitness problem. Dominating early and losing (relatively) late this often is not a coincidence.
Dr Who? Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 We've gone of the boil since the subs came on:rolleyes: We have kind of gone off the boil since the final whistle at Bristol Rovers!
del boy Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Cant believe you lot - we've picked up from losing 0-3 to 0-2 and now its only 0-1 ... what more do you expect?
Saint_clark Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 It could be worse, look at Newcastle.
Liquidshokk Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Can't believe what's happened to us. So depressing. T'is. Very. So many weekends shrouded is misery lately.
yorkie Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Time to panic yet? I can hear all the teams in the league laughing their socks off! Favourites for promotion - and we believed it!
Thedelldays Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 It could be worse, look at Newcastle. what...sat in the middle of he premierleague..having just won the CCC title..?
Saint Fan CaM Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Aaron Martin doing a great job again.
Liquidshokk Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 "Time running out for saints".... where have I heard that before...
mitch01 Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 It could be worse, look at Newcastle. You think thats worse?
Causer Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Time for an Everton like stoppage time performance
patred44 Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 We have kind of gone off the boil since the final whistle at Bristol Rovers! that was a substitution as well...Wilkins for Pardew.....
lumuah Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Time to panic yet? I can hear all the teams in the league laughing their socks off! Favourites for promotion - and we believed it! Back to relegation favourites again. Oh well, it's what i'm used to as a saints fan anyway.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 We played this lot and lost 3-0 and we play them again soon after so OBVIOUSLY we change tactics and try a different approach this time! Don't we? Merrington keeps saying we are having a good spell! WE ARE LOSING 1-0 to A TEAM AT THE BOTTOM OF DIVISION 3 WITHOUT A WIN THIS SEASON (except against us that is) FF SAKE!
S-Clarke Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 how depressing, i never thought i'd feel like i do this season. I was so looking forward to it. We still have a chance to rescue it, but still - what a mess.
Um Bongo Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 So then, are the players lying when they say under Wilkins they are 'enjoying it and he is working them hard'? Because in the 3 games with him charge, we have been pure ****e. Relegation form, not potential L1 winners. Embarrassing.
RedArmy Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 It could be worse, look at Newcastle. Yeah look at Newcastle. In the Premier League.
saint michael Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 too many players missing cant remember mogan touching ball same as others
St Lej Posted 11 September, 2010 Posted 11 September, 2010 Is this the most predictable ****ing result of the season? What were the chances of firing another blank and going home with 0 points? Pretty high!
