Dog Posted 10 September, 2010 Posted 10 September, 2010 to bury a horse or pony on your own land?? Heard last night that all dead animals need to be cremated. If so, do I dig it up? Deppo?
badgerx16 Posted 10 September, 2010 Posted 10 September, 2010 Hope it isn't, or I'll have to dig up 4 cats, 4 rabbits, 2 hamsters, a chicken, and a border collie ! The only issue when the pony died was that I wasn't willing to dig that big a hole, so called a knacker to take him away.
Marsdinho Posted 10 September, 2010 Posted 10 September, 2010 What if someone trips over one of the hoofs sticking out of the ground.
John Boy Saint Posted 10 September, 2010 Posted 10 September, 2010 to bury a horse or pony on your own land?? Did you run it over in the Forest then decided to hide the evidence by getting it home and burying it under the Rhubarb, hence not knowing if it was a Horse or a Pony? ;-)

Hatch Posted 16 December, 2010 Posted 16 December, 2010 Serious answer, COuld you have sold it to the local chinese takeaway or kebab shop
Lighthouse Posted 16 December, 2010 Posted 16 December, 2010 There is a way to get rid of horses without burying or cremating them, but it takes a lot of flushes. I'd just leave it be TBH and let the vultures take care of it.
