Toadhall Saint Posted 8 September, 2010 Posted 8 September, 2010 Sorry if posted elsewhere but was wondering what the state of play is with the developments at Staplewood?
ottery st mary Posted 8 September, 2010 Posted 8 September, 2010 Did we not change the name of this training ground? Staplethorpe or Port?
Viking Warrior Posted 8 September, 2010 Posted 8 September, 2010 Was down at Staplewood this morning and I can confirm they cut the grass this morning. Its looking good probably the best training ground surface in the uk
Guan 2.0 Posted 8 September, 2010 Posted 8 September, 2010 Did we not change the name of this training ground? Staplethorpe or Port? Or Stapleton, according to some on here...
ottery st mary Posted 8 September, 2010 Posted 8 September, 2010 Are the workers still refusing to work... Rembering the axe grinders in their anti NC period before they moved onto the Pards vendetta.
Smirking_Saint Posted 8 September, 2010 Posted 8 September, 2010 Are the workers still refusing to work... Rembering the axe grinders in their anti NC period before they moved onto the Pards vendetta. I don't get what there big issue is really. Many many firms start work before recieving any cash, infact, many firms these days (big firms) have rediculous 180 days payment from the invoice date. Don't get me wrong, many shouldn't have to do this but most small contractors will fulfill the contract and get paid in dribs and drabs, my guess is they tried to play the big one as they know saints have the cash. Worrying nothing is sorted yet however.
Thedelldays Posted 8 September, 2010 Posted 8 September, 2010 if nothing is done..we still have a fantastic training ground
Toadhall Saint Posted 8 September, 2010 Author Posted 8 September, 2010 So its as it was - cheers all.
S-Clarke Posted 8 September, 2010 Posted 8 September, 2010 Cortese is looking for new contractors after a disagreement with the previous firm.
ottery st mary Posted 8 September, 2010 Posted 8 September, 2010 No point in this forum sponsoring players....They all leave or fail to get into the side... Let us sponsor a builder or two...
sadoldgit Posted 8 September, 2010 Posted 8 September, 2010 No point in this forum sponsoring players....They all leave or fail to get into the side... Let us sponsor a builder or two... Do they have a red sash across their donkey jackets do you think?
sadoldgit Posted 8 September, 2010 Posted 8 September, 2010 Cortese is looking for new contractors after a disagreement with the previous firm. Did they take pictures of the site without permission?
ottery st mary Posted 8 September, 2010 Posted 8 September, 2010 Do they have a red sash across their donkey jackets do you think? If we sponsor the right builders.....The real roughy, tuffy types....They could even get into our midfield....
sadoldgit Posted 8 September, 2010 Posted 8 September, 2010 If we sponsor the right builders.....The real roughy, tuffy types....They could even get into our midfield.... Like Terry Hurlock?
st alex Posted 8 September, 2010 Posted 8 September, 2010 If work started, then did the building which housed the changing rooms, canteen etc get demolished, I'm assuming this would be the first stage? Which would mean that we'd be without some fairly basic facilities, although that would probably mean they are using portacabins for the time being?
