Yesterday (on the TV iver here) was saying something about the club is gonna take it's own sweet time, select a 'foreign' style 'coach' not manager, who will have less player input blah-blah-blah etc.

 

My Saints supporting and usually very calm American girlfriend became very animated, yelling something in the vein of "You've tried that already you jackasses FFS...that's why we're in League One..."

 

I was impressed, yet speechless.

Has this continental style coach crap ever worked in English football ?

 

It's certainly failed enough times, including at Saints. Let the manager manage, that's what I say !

Look, I'd happily oblige.

 

Unfortunately all our photo rights have been sold to the local franchise of Hello Magazine (Ahlan). And in return for ensuring that they get us A-List local celebs attending all the major events heres (me, the GF & EoA) all in VIP lounges of course, we're not allowed to post the pics onto the internet.

 

Perhaps TT has a slightly less restrictive media management contract and can oblige. If he isn't making money off teh pics of him and the GF then I can get him a couple of really good quotes, I believe SFC Ltd now have a great team earning huge sums for their clients. If not happy with that I'll accept a PM of his lass as a start point and a pint another day

Did we really need another thread on the manager situation? Could this not have been added to one of te existing threads?

 

Of course that doesn't generate the whole "look at me, love me" that a new thread does.

I've read this a couple of times and still can't see how recounting $#*! My Girlfriend Says has anything to do with Some Sky Dude Re: Our New Gaffer.

 

I'm guessing that title was a ruse to let us all know you have an American girlfriend who's knowledgable about sports.

 

 

Which is fine by me, as this then an appropriate place to let everyone know that I have an American girlfriend who is knowledgable about sports.

My Estonian missus knows **** all about the Saints; even though she has been to 7-10 games! She does fancy Kelvin though, and AP lol. I haven't told her what's happened yet; and I'm guessing she hasn't checked SSN or the OS either.

You make an excellent point. As an option we could respond to the topic, if we do not want to respond to the topic then we shouldn't or we could just ignore it, but then we're not catering to the disruptors, stalkers and agitators...(I'm sure there are cool, modern 'intrawebbie' terms for them).
