And getting the best out of Gerrard, probably teh most wasted England player ever.

yep..gerrard sitting deep and allowing the wide players to really push on with rooney floating around in "the hole"...seems to work a treat

then it will all be undone when lampard is back and he HAS to be accomodated into the team

I just don't get the infactuation with Lampard, he is not a complete midfielder in the same respect that Gerrard is, also Gerrard is now playing in the role he played in when we beat Germany 5-1 and were unbeaten with him in the team. He can influence the game, sit if he needs, burst forward if he needs. Liverpool see more goals from him as they build a team around him, in a similar situation that Chelsea build around Lampard.

With England we can't do that, so it comes down to who works best with the system, and that man is Gerrard. I still believe if we didn't f*ck around so long with the Lampard/Gerrard experiments we would have seen more success by now.

A Johnson. Very good. Like him.

CRACKING GOAL THE SWISS !!

Anywho, we look far too good for them and back to Johnson

I feel Saints need to give a video of him to Puncheon, and tell him to be more direct and stop slowing down play. I think he has the ability to play like johnson AT THIS LEVEL. (that doesn't mean i think he should be replacing him in the england squad pedants)
