SaintNeil90 Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 Do they really think we believe all that rubbish. Its clear as day that there is a lot of unrest in the team since Pardew left.

stevegrant Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 To be fair, I don't think anyone would expect the players to say "yeah, we're all annoyed that the manager's been sacked" if that were the case
SaintNeil90 Posted 7 September, 2010 Author Posted 7 September, 2010 To be fair, I don't think anyone would expect the players to say "yeah, we're all annoyed that the manager's been sacked" if that were the case No i would expect them to keep their mouths shut!
merrimd Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 Do they really think we believe all that rubbish. Its clear as day that there is a lot of unrest in the team since Pardew left. I saw no difference between the team display on saturday and the one against Plymouth. I would say that if there is unrest, it was there BEFORE Pardew left!
TopGun Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 Do they really think we believe all that rubbish. Its clear as day that there is a lot of unrest in the team since Pardew left. Is it as clear as day?
Sour Mash Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 Is it as clear as day? You watch the Swindon or Rochdale games?
merrimd Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 You watch the Swindon or Rochdale games? or the Plymouth or Leyton Orient games?
Saint_clark Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 or the Plymouth or Leyton Orient games? They played well in those games. V Swindon and Rochdale, they were awful.
Miltonaggro Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 The players seem to be talking a good game, which is lost in translation when Saturday comes...
Under Weststand Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 Hardly surprising comments are they? Although some of the comments are a little/way over the top & unnecessary. Don't really need all the Wilkins is brilliant c**p.
Liquidshokk Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 Hardly surprising comments are they? Although some of the comments are a little/way over the top & unnecessary. Don't really need all the Wilkins is brilliant c**p. Exactly my thoughts. some of it is almost cringy.
Thedelldays Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 We have Les Reed, why should we worry? dear god..I hope you dont have a pop at others who criticise he club in other areas...like first team managers for instance...?
rocknrollman no2 Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 When Wigley was put in charge, the players all said how they liked playing for him and what a nice chap he was and where did that get us? Same old tripe coming out of the official site.
sadoldgit Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 dear god..I hope you dont have a pop at others who criticise he club in other areas...like first team managers for instance...? You are happy with this bloke then?
Thedelldays Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 You are happy with this bloke then? Why wouldn't I be. We know very little about what goes on at SMS... So excuse me if I don't buy into the echo of all papers
SparkySaint Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 Club in positive self promotion shocker. Whatever next
CB Fry Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 We have Les Reed, why should we worry? You are happy with this bloke then? I think we should give him a minimum of five years before we can judge him, people these days are too quick to judge give him a chance people are so impatient etc etc etc blah blah blah. Oh. Sorry, this is someone you don't like. So all your usual pompous lecturing about how horribly judgemental people are start to sound a bit hollow don't they? Biggest hypocrite on the forum by a country mile.

Oh. Sorry, this is someone you don't like. So all your usual pompous lecturing about how horribly judgemental people are start to sound a bit hollow don't they? Biggest hypocrite on the forum by a country mile. I thought you supported Pardew. It looks very likely that Pardew's departure had something to do with Reed. How do you feel about that, you strange little man.

Thedelldays Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 Yeah, you are right DD, afterall he has been such a success elsewhere. He certainly has the Wow factor. Actually. He has. Designed the pro license and us highly regarded in the higher levels of coaching... Funny how you go back on everything you preach about giving people years before we judge You are unreal

Professor Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 The OS editor - presumably on Cortese's instructions, wasn't even allowed to announce Pardew's sacking properly, instead it was headlined 'new coaches to be appointed'. It was an insult to fans intelligence and since a week later no new coaches have been appointed it wasn't entirely accurate. Pardew dismissed and search for new coach would have been more honest.
sadoldgit Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 Actually. He has. Designed the pro license and us highly regarded in the higher levels of coaching... Funny how you go back on everything you preach about giving people years before we judge You are unreal I am unreal? What is unreal is the hypocricy by some on here. The same things that Lowe was pillioried for Cortese gets away with? How does that work? As for Reed, lets see eh? If he is highly as highly regarded as you say then we have no problems right?
sadoldgit Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 How does it look like this.. Please feel free to show us all Thanks You didn't read the OS statement then?
Arizona Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 Anyone else think "Nicola Cortese" sounds a lot like "Nicolae Ceausescu". I'm just saying...
sadoldgit Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 The OS editor - presumably on Cortese's instructions, wasn't even allowed to announce Pardew's sacking properly, instead it was headlined 'new coaches to be appointed'. It was an insult to fans intelligence and since a week later no new coaches have been appointed it wasn't entirely accurate. Pardew dismissed and search for new coach would have been more honest. I still can't get my head around all of this. Cortese had a decent manager, all he had to do was back him. I don't know what went on between those two but it look slike there was no love lost between those two. Throw in Reed and you get this mess. We did well last year and well enough to think that we could build on that and progess to better things. Now we had to start again. Is it a coincidence that the wheels have fallen off now that ML has passed away and Cortese has a free hand?
saint_disco123 Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 Maybe they are just playing bad to make the new mananger look really good when/if we win a game
CB Fry Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 I thought you supported Pardew. It looks very likely that Pardew's departure had something to do with Reed. How do you feel about that, you strange little man. I did and do support Pardew. I've expressed my views on Les Reed elsewhere today.
sadoldgit Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 I did and do support Pardew. I've expressed my views on Les Reed elsewhere today. And so did and do I, so why do you keep having a dig?
Professor Posted 8 September, 2010 Posted 8 September, 2010 Worried by the OS today (Wed) - they haven't been able to quote another player saying how great things are. Maybe the whole first team is locked in a room with Les Reed - "You will all stay here until one of you makes a positive statement.." Who will be the first to break...?
