Colinjb Posted 7 September, 2010 Share Posted 7 September, 2010 Being confirmed on SSN. Quite incredible for a 3 time world champion to admit this in court, he must have been cornered. What will become of him now?
stevegrant Posted 7 September, 2010 Share Posted 7 September, 2010 Surely John Higgins?
Colinjb Posted 7 September, 2010 Author Share Posted 7 September, 2010 Surely John Higgins? #Ahem# Any chance of a thread title correction guv? A ghostly figure appearing in court for such a reason would be rather spectacular though.
Hatch Posted 7 September, 2010 Share Posted 7 September, 2010 I expect Alex did it as well! Another NotW sting brings down a sports star. Can he go to prison for this?
the stain Posted 7 September, 2010 Share Posted 7 September, 2010 Why is nobody reporting this except a single 'Sky source'?
chrisobee Posted 7 September, 2010 Share Posted 7 September, 2010 It was reported firstly that he had admitted to match fixing but within an hour this had been retracted. As far as I am aware only Sky Sports News have reported this, once again though on Twitter the tweets have been retracted. Thinking it is time people got their facts straight in the first place. Hatch Posted 8 September, 2010 Share Posted 8 September, 2010 Both Higgins have been cleared. John is more relieved of the two. Alex made no comment.
