John Smith Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 out of interest...who would you class as a big name for a division 3 team..? Someone with experience, maybe an adkins or another like minded manager that has gained promotion from the lower leagues, Pearson for example or Mowbrey, all big names, they demand respect. BUT, if Reed is pulling the strings and they are aware of this, then they aren't as big a name as I thought, or what they thought. If they come in thinking they have autonomy and then Reed starts rocking the boat and they can't put him in his place then Cortese got it wrong. If the knew manager leaves because of it, then the manager was not a big name. Eddie Howe, no, not done it, would've been interesting last season if he had already got Bournemouth promoted, but he just isn't experienced enough. What I'm saying is, there is going to be a very fine line for Cortese and if he goes small and the guy gets swallowed up by this club and its staff and our results get worse, there will be even worse times ahead for us (the supporters). Therefore, Cortese needs to go big, someone who covers all the basis, he MUST get this right, if that means Pearson, do it, if that means KK, do it, if that means Martin O neil, do it! HE MUST GHET THIS RIGHT or it's the end of the dream..... for now anyway.
Deppo Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 why and which station and when Radio 1, 9pm, Zane Lowe talks to The Prodigy
ChrisPY Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 May be worth sticking on the radio in a bit. I agree with this. If you have the same source as me you may have the same information. Eastenders is sh*t.
saint lard Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 May be worth sticking on the radio in a bit. I concur.
saint lard Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 why and which station and when I certainly would'nt bother with talksport, terrible station.
Saint Billy Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 It's gonna be Brown IMO. Could be a slight tan colour if your not eating enough veg!
saint lard Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 It will not be Martin O'Neil. No way. Source?
Colinjb Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 pmnw! Eh? wtf? I am not ITK or any other acronym. It's just things that good do not happen to us. As such, there is not way i'm going to build any hope up.
Colbury Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 Amazing how many people will either vomit or ejaculate if MoN was installed. Southampton could be awash with chunder and cum tomorrow, what a pleasant thought.
beatlesaint Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 Source? Common sense and logic I would think ;-)
lordswoodsaints Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 I can confirm that MON hasn't stayed at the devere since pardew was sacked.....unless he was going under a different name.
saint lard Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 Common sense and logic I would think ;-) meh, neither come into it when talking about football, luckily.
Deppo Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 Well it doesn't edit itself.... Yeah, and I'm the only person on the internet. Get a grip mate.
Bartosz Bialkowski Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 I can confirm that MON hasn't stayed at the devere since pardew was sacked.....unless he was going under a different name. lol why would he? did you check for mourinho
CWD Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 May be worth sticking on the radio in a bit. ITK or just a feeling?
SB Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 Yeah, and I'm the only person on the internet. Get a grip mate. No, but you're the only one that posts the most BS on a internet forum.
sadoldgit Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 and some suggest no one would want to come here and work for Hitler clone himself... Why wouldn't they? If they are successful they are a hero, if not they walk away with shedloads of cash. That is why there are queues for football managers jobs.
SO16_Saint Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 These 30/50 managers, if that is the case would we not have to request permission to speak to them? Surely someone somewhere would have leaked a name
yorkiesaint Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 Yeah, and I'm the only person on the internet. Get a grip mate. I've lost my grip with the excitement of it all.
Deppo Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 No, but you're the only one that posts the most BS on a internet forum. That is a very poor sentence.
Deppo Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 I've lost my grip with the excitement of it all. Apology accepted. Let's move on.
modern matron Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 That is a very poor sentence. I think he thinks you are posting more bull****e than anyone else....are you?
ladysaint Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 Paul Lambert not even in the running so would be a good bet VCbet Monday the 6th Sept 2010. Nigel Adkins 6/5 Phil Brown 3/1 Gianfranco Zola 4/1 Eddie Howe 5/1 Alan Shearer 10/1 Tony Mowbray 10/1 Gareth Southgate 12/1 Glenn Hoddle 12/1 Rolf Fringer 12/1 Paul Buckle 14/1 Ian Dowie 14/1 Jim Magilton 14/1 Paul Hart 16/1 Kevin Blackwell 16/1 Chris Coleman 16/1 Paul Jewell 16/1 Steve Clarke 16/1 Dennis Wise 16/1 Paul Ince 20/1 Gary Megson 20/1 Martin O'Neill 20/1 Micky Adams 22/1 Sven Goran Eriksson 25/1 Dean Wikins 25/1 Steve Coppell 25/1 Kevin Keegan 25/1 Chris Wilder 25/1 Alan Knill 28/1 Jim Gannon 28/1 Alan Curbishley 33/1 Paul Tisdale 33/1 Jeff Kenna 33/1 Dan Petrescu 40/1 Carlton Palmer 66/1 Matthew Le Tissier 100/1
gonzo Posted 6 September, 2010 Author Posted 6 September, 2010 Current Skybet odds. Interesting that Martin O'Neill has gone down to 7/1, from 12/1 earlier.
buctootim Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 I think he thinks you are posting more bull****e than anyone else....are you? Its very hard to tell. Its an extremely wide and competitive field.
saintjay77 Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 Actually, I never sent any ITK PMs. Except that one you sent to me, or was I not meant to mention that one?
Gemmel Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 Its very hard to tell. Its an extremely wide and competitive field.:lol:

hamster Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 If Nicola actually is making plans for Nigel I would be in XTC.
Suhari Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 If Nicola actually is making plans for Nigel I would be in XTC.
Toomer Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 Tomorrow will come and go and we will still be asking the question who is going to be our next manager.
doddisalegend Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 I reckon we can rule out Dales Keith Hill following this quote after saturdays game. The reasons for Pardew's departure remain unclear, but Hill believes Cortese's motives need to be examined. He said in The Sun: "I think there are a lot of chairmen who want to be football managers, and if that is the case they should make themselves the manager."
tobes8 Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 Adkins has got Scunny promoted from League One twice and kept them up on a shoestring last season. That's the kind of experience we need. All IMHO of course. Yes kept a team up on a shoestring...we need someone who has experience in geting teams promoted and pushing on. I cant really see the players reacting positively to Adkins..I predict a long, depressing season!
Deppo Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 You boys need to set your sights a bit higher! lol!
