derry Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 Waigo isn't in the Fiorentina first team squad of 28 for this season's serie A.
S-Clarke Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 Isn't it too late to sign him now though derry? I think the loan window is only open for domestic based loans, we'd have to wait until january to get him. Unless Fiorentina terminate his contract.

Except that last season I thought he joined after the loan window opened.
Appy Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 neither is Antonio When did Fiorentina sign Antonio?
S-Clarke Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 Except that last season I thought he joined after the loan window opened. The deal was done before the window closed, but was announced the following day once we'd got the confirmation from the FL.
Turkish Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 When did Fiorentina sign Antonio? they haven't but it is just as relevant.
Appy Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 they haven't but it is just as relevant. Its not because Antonio is in Reading's plans, Waigo is clearly not in Fiorentina's plans.
Turkish Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 Its not because Antonio is in Reading's plans, Waigo is clearly not in Fiorentina's plans. but neither of them are going to be joining saints. So it is irelevant to us if Waigo or Antonio are in Fiorentinas plans.
Saintandy666 Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 (edited) Its not because Antonio is in Reading's plans, Waigo is clearly not in Fiorentina's plans. Quoted wrong post. Durb. Edited 5 September, 2010 by Saintandy666
Turkish Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 He meant for reading... I hate your avatar. It's gay.
Huntingdon Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 I always thought Papa Waigo was a Cortese signing & AP didn't overly rate him With NC running the show I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Waigo return
DrZuess1979 the 2nd Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 I always thought Papa Waigo was a Cortese signing & AP didn't overly rate him With NC running the show I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Waigo return Its NOT a NC signing, there is a commitee which AP was apart of.
shurlock Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 Its NOT a NC signing, there is a commitee which AP was apart of. There wasn't one at that time.
austsaint Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 Not playing Waigo regularly and appearing not to back his retention was one of the few criticisms I had of AP.
gonzo Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 Also, Reading don't have a limited squad of 25 that Antonio has to be a part of - that rule only applies to Premier League clubs.
gonzo Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 I hate your avatar. It's gay. Good to see the art of constructive posting hasn't died off.

SaintBobby Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 I think it's true that Papa and AP didn't get on, but though window was closed now anyway.
sebastian firefly Posted 5 September, 2010 Posted 5 September, 2010 brescia were trying to sign him dont know if they did though
ottery st mary Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 According to his landlady NOT one other English club have put a bid in for this world class player.....
Rebel Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 Right now he would give us the cover and the pace upfront we so desperately need - a front four of Puncheon, Waigo, Guly Do Prado and Oxlade-Chamberlain would give most teams on League 1 problems it would also allow Lambert to take a break and get the operation he needs - and provide the covet for Barnard whilst he serves his 3 match ban - and Lallana whilst he recovers from hid operation
captainchris Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 Not playing Waigo regularly and appearing not to back his retention was one of the few criticisms I had of AP. One of the few. Yes but it's a giant size reason - about 10 times more of a reason than shaky substitutions or his other numerous average to poor decisions. Not having Waigo and Antonio is massively glaring and stupid.
Winchester_Saint Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 According to his landlady NOT one other English club have put a bid in for this world class player..... That's because they know that no English linesman can keep up with him and therefore that is why he is always offside. Lol
St Landrew Posted 6 September, 2010 Posted 6 September, 2010 We need him! So true. We need his speed; his ability to be in the right place at the right time; his sheer unpredictability against the opposition; his running off the ball, and his occasional goals. Plus I still think we could do with Antonio. But I really would love to have Papa Waigo back. Ideally, both. They were our unpredictable edge.
ottery st mary Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 That's because they know that no English linesman can keep up with him and therefore that is why he is always offside. Lol I liked Papa and thought he was useful to have around.....Lost no sleep when he wasn't signed.. Still think if he was that good other teams would have jumped in and signed him...maybe wages etc...Believe that Guly is in the same category.. Like Spiderman ..not really suited to the Div 1 type of play required to get results. Let us hope our new manager picks up a few good loan transfers to start the ball rolling.
SaintRichmond Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 Its NOT a NC signing, there is a commitee which AP was apart of. At which Cortese has the final say Hence no £1M fee to Reading for Antonio
NorthamSteve Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 At which Cortese has the final say Hence no £1M fee to Reading for Antonio Of course he will he's the ****ing chairman. This is not unusual.
Mr X Posted 7 September, 2010 Posted 7 September, 2010 I hate your avatar. It's gay. People who use the word gay completely out of context are clearly of limited intelligence, im guessing your still at school?
