Following on from Englands 4-0 win on friday night and Saints pretty dreadful start to the season. Do people on here still think Saints would beat England and that Rickie Lambert should still be in the England squad? Or have England now improved and can now be considered a better team that Saints?

England now better. Probably down to the fact that Rooney is no longer looking over his shoulder waiting for his latest Auld Slapper incident to make it to the public domain.

????? Why the question?? Dont you remember before and during the world cup, a large number of posters claimed Saints would beat England and RL should have been in the England squad. I was wondering if this was still peoples view.

And a certain midfield who may or may not play for a team in the north west and speak with an accent from that area is no longer worrying about his story of knocking up a 16 year old bird making it onto the front of NOTW. What about RL for England calls? Still valid?

Now that Heskey has retired (lol!) and Crouch has apparantly joined England's cheat on your wife or girlfriend club, which now seems to include half the squad, maybe Lambert still has a role to play as a decent target man?! Ha, maybe not...

I've retired from International football too, no longer available for England, i announced it o facebook a few months ago, didn't want to stand in the way of the likes of Whilshire, Rodwell and Huddlestone.

Are you implying that our fans are a little on the stupid side, Turkish?

I never actually said that Red Army, stop putting words in my mouth.

Could be that Lambert is basing his current playing style on Torres at the world cup.................

Hammond is definitely basing his on Lampards.
