Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 To save a 17 year old from a crowd who are turning on the team i should think. Rubbish, he is the only one who has looked like doing anything
Saint_clark Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 Is it just me who almost wants Rochdale to get a third just to prove a point to Cortese?
martyg1950 Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 If we weren't a laughing stock this morning we sure as hell will be tonite - this is completely embarrasing and Wilkins has lost it.
ulstersaint Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 Both goals down to Fonte he has been sh**te Might be something to do with the manager who signed him getting the sack.
buctootim Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 I never felt confident we would win any one game under Pardew. Sometimes we were great, sometimes ****e - could never tell in advance which team would turn up.
buctootim Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 Rubbish, he is the only one who has looked like doing anything I didnt say he was crap. I said he was being protected.
Joneth Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 Anyone else notice the players seem to be avoiding passing to Guly? This performance smacks of an angry team making a point...by being ****
Deppo Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 would I be a glory hunter if i now started supporting rochdale?
Saint_clark Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 And for anyone blaming cortese, the problems were seeing on the pitch now are the ones pardew brought into the season. Crap home form no plan b and no way to break teams down. Pardew and cortese can both **** off. Rubbish. Absolute rubbish. With Pardew in charge we were creating tons of chances but not getting the luck. We've created one chance that wasn't a hopeful long shot today.
brmbrm Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 Is it just me who almost wants Rochdale to get a third just to prove a point to Cortese? No, I don't suppose so. A few months, maybe a year, of hope and positivity and its back to the same old same old. Jeez. Just like having Lowe and the dutch duo back again. Anyway: the positives: Chamberlaine - oh, he's been pulled off.... FFS....
latter day saint Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 tater just made sense for 1st time this afternoon when he questioned the substitutions!
Robsk II Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 I went outside to measure up for a sheet of OSB and come in to find it's 2-0. F*cksticks, mother's c*nt.
Kingsbridge Saint Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 We look absolutely terrible. Wtf has Cortese done? Mid table if we are lucky with this pile of poo. Puncheon is todays clown. Those of you defending him as the only one creating anything need to realise nothing has come of any of his many possessions - and he has denied others in the side time on the ball.
Bucks Saint Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 And for anyone blaming cortese, the problems were seeing on the pitch now are the ones pardew brought into the season. Crap home form no plan b and no way to break teams down. Pardew and cortese can both **** off. Did we ship five goals at home without reply in the space of two games under AP? Must have missed that sorry
.comsaint Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 Can't understand how we're losing this tbh. We've been so sharp in front of goal this afternoon . . .
ulstersaint Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 As it stands we are outside of the relegation zone on goal difference.
CanadaSaint Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 Both goals down to Fonte he has been sh**te Yeah, he hasn't looked good but he was sucked out of the central role to cover mistakes made by others - Butterfield and, to a lesser extent, Chamberlain.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 I dont know what went on with AP, but whatever it was has killed the spirit and soul of this team. How can 11 excellent players look so awful so often?
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 I didnt say he was crap. I said he was being protected. Ridiculous! So people are booing. Big ****ing deal, he should have stayed on, plain and simple.
Saint-Fred Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 And for anyone blaming cortese, the problems were seeing on the pitch now are the ones pardew brought into the season. Crap home form no plan b and no way to break teams down. Pardew and cortese can both **** off. I disagree we have looked OK every game this season except the last two. Cortese blamed Pardew for not getting promoted last season if we don't go up this season as champions he should resign and go back to banking...he has potentially ruined a great season.
saint lard Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 £22 wasted...i am witnessing self destruct. taking chamberlain off is utter madness.best player on the park....and yes i joined in 'u dont know what ur doing' we could play till midnight we dont look as if we can score....we are devoid of imagination,leadership,desire......oh and puncheon cant cross a ball to save his life...into the stands it goes.......
Saint_clark Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 If Wilkins took Chamberlain off to "protect him" that shows he had given up on the game. Gutless.
buctootim Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 Ridiculous! So people are booing. Big ****ing deal, he should have stayed on, plain and simple. mong
SaintBobby Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 (edited) This is a total utter shambles. A disgrace in fact. Possibly Saints worst result the league in 30 years Edited 4 September, 2010 by SaintBobby
Vershinin Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 the only good thing today is that im pleased i didnt waste £50 of my hard earned going over to watch this crap My thoughts exactly. After a year of such optimism we are back to classic saints struggling. It feels normal again. Hope the new man in midweek will inject some spirit back in this team. This is ****ing ****ing ******** and is ****ing typical saints ****ing ****. COYR
Under Weststand Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 Oh dear just in & what a poor result, how much lower can we sink? loosing at home to Rochdale. A great chance goes begging again. Has it been another one of those days? Cortese needs to sort this shambles out rapidly.
martyg1950 Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 And for anyone blaming cortese, the problems were seeing on the pitch now are the ones pardew brought into the season. Crap home form no plan b and no way to break teams down. Pardew and cortese can both **** off. So it's AP's fault then that Wilkins has played predictable tactics that werent working then in a stroke of genius taken off 2 of the only players who were actualy performing at all ?? I'l have a glass of whatever you're drinking please!
Saint Without a Halo Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 we are saints the best side at snatching defeat from the edge of victory! Harding miss hits in front of goal it goes to puncheon and he miss hits it too! sums up our day i think
SaltashSaint Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 What an absolute shambles we are! No cohesion, no understanding and a total lack of confidence, both individually and collectively. We take off the only player (Chamberlain) who looked anything like creating anything decent and are a team at the moment with a distinct lack of ideas and creativity. Any chances we do produce are constantly wasted by abject finishing. As a club, we are paying the price for failing to build on the momentum created by Alan Pardew last season. We needed another striker, another wide player and another central midfielder and managed to get neither of them! The decision to get ride of Pardew was a joke in my opinion. After today (I am watching the live stream in Cornwall) that decision is quite simply unbelievable. Whoever comes in has a huge job to do.
LGTL Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 mong He is 17, not 7. I'm sure his little heart could have coped with some boos. Luckily, not everyone was Mummy's little soldier in life.
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 mong Ironic. By taking him off Wilkins resigned the team to a defeat. He may be 17, but if he wants to be a pro, he needs to get used it. If the crowd were getting on HIS back I would agree with you, but they weren't!. Clueless.
Saint_clark Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 Good build up play there, but comes to nothing unfortunately.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 wilkins doesn't want the job! hope someone does!
ulstersaint Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 We are being taken for mugs. Hammond on the OS "We are in good hands with Dean ....", and next week the OS will give us yet another rallying call from senior pro'.
sambosa75 Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 Chasing shadows against Rochdale at St Mary's... FFS.
Saint_clark Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 We are being taken for mugs. Hammond on the OS "We are in good hands with Dean ....", and next week the OS will give us yet another rallying call from senior pro'. Just like the good old days.
Deppo Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 "One of the biggest results in their histroy" This commentator is almost as sh*t as us.
yamms_schmitz Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 Commentator says "This is potentially one of the biggests results in Rochdale's history". That says it all really.
bridge too far Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 wilkins doesn't want the job! hope someone does! 50 applicants according to 5Live
Saint Without a Halo Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 seven games into the season 6 at home! looking like 2 wins 1 draw and 4 home defeats what a way to start a season in which we are so called favourites!
