You can get the secret Zombie maps by pushing R2+L2 when the man is sat in the chair and go around the back and go on computer and it askes for pass, pass is 3arc! :D

I'm currently stuck on Mission 3 just after hallway with the crates. I get 20 metres from the objective and die in a hail of bullets. :-/

am getting my copy today, sounds good from what I've read on here.

 

Hope they've done away with those bloody attack dogs from MW2, they irritated the hell out of me

I got a Blackbird SR-71 in a care package the other night, am I missing something or is it just an enhanced spy plane? seems a bit pointless to buy that as a killstreak reward!

I absolutely love the Blackbird, brilliant on the bigger maps, but a bit pointless on Nuketown and the other smaller one's. Hardline with Blackbird and chopper gunner is the way forward, so much easier to get kills when you can see exactly where they are and where they're facing.

^ on the start screen when you load the game up, also, anyone noticed a distinct lack of sniper maps on multiplayer ...literally what is the point of the sniper class?! I hope they release some big maps in a map pack or something ..

I was starting to get bored with the fact that every map seemed to be set up for SMGs only, but now I've got to know the maps a bit more, I've started using assault rifle setups (FAMAS with ACOG scope has been very useful) and have even made a sniper class. Though there's no chance of camping, but a couple of maps have some good vantage points if you can get to them, and claymores seem to be so much more useful than they ever were on MW2.

 

Still would be nice to have a few maps like Wasteland, Underpass, Afghan etc.

 

One thing I want to know though, how come GingerMJ is so bloody good? what's the secret???? :lol:

Yes there is - go into zombie mode and you can do split screen, or go into multiplayer and you can do spit screen.

 

sorry I meant a 2 player co-op online

 

like you could do with the spec ops in MW2

Anyone tried much of the wager matches? I was made to look very bad in a few yesterday, especially the one where you have to get a kill with one weapon in order to move to the next, lost a fair amount of CoD points after being bankrupted repeatedly!

not too keen on the wager matches, but the high roller ones look fun when i have some DOUGH ...at the mo am so close to prestige'ing that it is my only goal! lol, anyone finding that you join a server and its the same maps playing over and over?! I'll be stuck playing crisis or launch or radiation for hours and although they are OK, i'm more of a jungle/firing range/wmd/cracked ...kind of guy myself lol

The amount of host and connection issues are beyond a joke as is the lag time, and I have an uber fast connection!

 

Managed, at last, to get my K/D back over 1.00, now 1.04. When I get up to 1.25 I'll be content.

 

I too have blown myself up over cooking a frag. :(

I made a change to the match search engine so it searches for more local matches first. Reduced the lag in game, but didn't change host connection problems.

 

My big dilemma now is whether to go prestige and give up my G11... I'm sure I will as soon as prestige is available, but the G11 really is a good weapon! Helped get my K/D ratio back up anyway :)

 

So being the geek I am, I've been playing with the Theatre stuff (there's a couple of little segments that I'm a bit proud of). Does anyone know how to get it from the game so it can be shared?

I think it's on the lobby page, you can press select and it brings up a menu where you change select various game search options. I switched it to locale which searches locally first then broadens to worldwide.

 

I would love to be able to tell you more, but I think my PS3 turned into a brick last night :(

Sussed out how to do it but the connection/lag issues are still huge.

 

I'm going back to MW2 and Black Ops is going on ebay.

What is the best gun and general setup? I am running the commando gun with red dot sight and suppressor.

Kitted as ghost and concussion grenade. Have claymore.
