Dr Octopus Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 I saw the special one in specsavers before I had my eyes tested.
gonzo Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 So far, SWF members have reported the following people in Southampton - Interviewed - Martin O'Neill - Kaiser Soze Alan Curbishley - Kaiser Soze Eddie Howe - FF Seen in town - Gordon Strachan - Hypo Jim Magilton - Kingsland Red So how do we know for sure the top 3 have been interviewed for the job? Is it more of 'I know someone who knows someone who's related to....' or has it been confirmed by someone properly ITK?
RonManager Posted 3 September, 2010 Author Posted 3 September, 2010 So how do we know for sure the top 3 have been interviewed for the job? Is it more of 'I know someone who knows someone who's related to....' or has it been confirmed by someone properly ITK? Because the two posters have posted that info.
gonzo Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 Because the two posters have posted that. So it basically is still speculation really then.

Lets B Avenue Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 I managed to be in Southampton tonight. HTH.
LeBenali Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 I spotted Eddie Howe in town on Tuesday, no joke. I do however live in Bournemouth, so make of it what you will.
SuperMikey Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 Come to think of it, I saw Phil Brown at KFC yesterday. I didn't make much of it at the time, but he chose coleslaw instead of beans as a side. Make of that what you will.
SaintNeil90 Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 Alan Curbishley has been out of the job for ages. Been linked with gods knows how many jobs (including prem ones) and is still happily unemployed. He has also previously said that he would only manage a team in the Premiership so I highly doubt he has been interviewed.
Weston Super Saint Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 Alan Pardew was in town today. Stranger things have happened.
Hatch Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 John Gregory bought my old flat. True story. Although this was in 2002.

Uninspiring tbh, not you obviously, I mean Curbishley........a 'nearly man' if I'm honest.

Badger Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 (edited) Sorry...ballsed up post. Edited 3 September, 2010 by Badger
Badger Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 Uninspiring tbh, not you obviously, I mean Curbishley........a 'nearly man' if I'm honest. Curbishley is more in the Burley category, as having done a good job once and will dine out on that forever.
Smirking_Saint Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 Curbishley is more in the Burley category, as having done a good job once and will dine out on that forever. Bit like Pardew then ?
Badger Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 Bit like Pardew then ? In fairness I think AP was succesfull at both Reading and West Ham,albeit briefly at both.
Smirking_Saint Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 In fairness I think AP was succesfull at both Reading and West Ham,albeit briefly at both. Curbishley took Charlton up from the wilderness twice, and almost got them into europe. Far better achievement IMO. Especially at a little club like Charlton. I just think his heart isn't in it any more, which is why i don't really want him at Saints.
MINIBARCELONASAINT Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 apparently, with a good sauce, MON bought a house in Hamble. Belive what you like but you heard it here first
ericofarabia Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 Quite a few Mangers were seen drunk in numerous pubs across town today. Burley and Luggy dream team on their way back LOL
Ludwig Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 I saw Graham Rix lurking around the youth team training session with a pair of binoculars.
Nadia Sllim Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 I saw Jimmy Melia in Edwin Jones yesterday.
Huffton Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 I haven't seen any managers but I did see a nice Audi with the numberplate COY1E in the Novotel car park last night.
slickmick Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 apparently, with a good sauce, MON bought a house in Hamble. Belive what you like but you heard it here first Who's MON ?
scotty Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 I saw Graham Rix lurking around the youth team training session with a pair of binoculars. was there a former saints manager with him? (only mention that as otherwise it might be irrelevant to the thread, nobody particular in mind......)
