forever a red and white Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 (edited) lets make it fans official, if the mods would be so kind to add a poll; (corrected, sarcy ****s) Favourites look like; based on odds and rumour; Nigel Adkins Eddie Howe Gianfranco Zola Edited 3 September, 2010 by forever a red and white
Tractor_Saint Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 lets make it fans official, if the mods would be so kind to add a pole; Ooooohhhh baj with a pole - now that puts a picture in everyone's mind. Uh, a poll?
SNSUN Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 No, I can't think of any Polish managers. Rasiak as player-boss perhaps?
Scudamore Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 Too many unknowns to be conducting a poll at this stage I'd say. Like the poll on whether we were right to sack Pardew how can you say when you don't know the facts? Obviously O'Neill is utter pie in the sky stuff but I'd take him over any other options if it were possible.

Smirking_Saint Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 MON would actually make me wet myself in a sticky ecstacy. But TBH i think Howe would be a great shout. Young, charismatic and with a drive to improve. I'd be happy with Brown, Adkins. Definately have a better pedigree to Pardew IMO. Curbishley is past it IMO
Right sider Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 MON or Mowbray look good for me, if I was choosing which I'm not.
Deppo Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 Graham Poll may have been in and around football for a long time but that does not qualify him to manage Saints. Another silly suggestion from someone who has no clue about the game
SaintNeil90 Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 Martin O'Neill would be a coup but would he stay the course of the plan if the England job or Man Utd job was offered to him? Has be to Tony Mowbray for me. Plays the sort of football we all want to watch.

VectisSaint Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 Martin O'Neill would be a coup but would he stay the course of the plan if the England job or Man Utd job was offered to him? Has be to Tony Mowbray for me. Plays the sort of football we all want to watch. Completely one-dimensional with no Plan B. Strange where have I heard that before. O'Neill is the right man for me, and I really don't think its pie in the sky. Problem would be when Fergie retires or Capello packs in, would he be off? Where has this Adkins story come from? I even had to look up who he was? Assume this is the Scunny manager, long successful record with Scunny and Bangor City, WTF!!!
The Fat Controller Posted 3 September, 2010 Posted 3 September, 2010 Sorry Guys - purely for the feel good factor it has to be ....... Keegan
The9 Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 Sorry Guys - purely for the feel good factor it has to be ....... Keegan Ugh. Well, that'll feel good until he sods off after 3 weeks after selling all our defenders.
scotty Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 Glenn Hoddle please. that ought to spark a reaction.....
slickmick Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 I had no choice. Theres a Dalek standing over me with a gun to my head.
Give it to Ron Posted 4 September, 2010 Posted 4 September, 2010 Glenn Hoddle please. Sorry why? based on a short period of time here where he acted like a prize **** when he left? No problem with him moving on to his spiritual home but the way he conducted himself does. He was such a success at Spurs and also did so well at Wolves. In fact he has such a great managerial record as well doesn't he ....all those trophies........d'oh! As a player manager Chelsea * FA Cup runner-up: 1994 [edit] As a manager Tottenham Hotspur * Worthington Cup runner-up: 2001–02

I do recall tho that there was some disappointment expressed when he dumped us for spurs, werent we playing pretty damn well when he was here?

I do recall tho that there was some disappointment expressed when he dumped us for spurs, werent we playing pretty damn well when he was here? Not well but getting some good 1-0 wins, we were well organsided. A lot were upset thats true because he did an Ok job and I didn't want him to go at that time. I didn't protest last time but also didn't want him back as we had better options...problem was Lowe did his usual and went for the cheap option. I don't think he is right now either as again for me better option in Mowbray, Adkins, Curbishley.
