Just watching MOTD and can't believe the number of empty seats in the ground for their first home game (I think) in the PL. Just said 15k crowd - biggest for 15 years.

Capacity is just over 16k but then again in fairness their ground hasn't had that capacity for a long time. It's their first season in the modern Prem but they've been in the top flight before. They've even won the FA Cup believe it or not!

 

At first I was wanting them to do well but now I hope they get relegated. Holloway seriously took the **** out of us this week. First by (genuinely) offering £400k for Marcus Tudgay on Friday, and then by mocking our league position and saying Marcus "even scored double figures with them" last season. We might be **** but we still did the double over them last season. They're really not that good.

I'm not sure what to make of them really. I heard on the radio last night that they will not pay anyone over 10k a week. If they keep to that and stay up then fair play to them, but they will have to give in to that eventually. Be nice to see Ormerod bag a few too.

Got 4 season ticket holders in my office - they have no aspirations whatsoever for this season, it's just an excuse to visit some away grounds they haven't yet been to. And they do seem to be determined to stick to the wage cap.

Fair play to Blackpool. Using this seasons money to really secure their future...

 

Staying up will be a welcome bonus

And who knows... Holloway took time out from the game and has come back fresh and motivated. They play very attacking football and is great to watch
