Vince 101* :vuvu:

LOL at the Yorkshire commentator on BBC on-line. "Thats his maiden Test century!"

I know that Yorkies have an over-inflated opinion of themselves, but I wasn't aware that they had left GB and obtained Test status.

Mind you Vince will be scoring Test centuries within the next 2/3 years.

Surely Steve the bigger lead we have by lunchtime,or just after gives us a bigger chance of winning. We are hardly likely to win with a lead of only 110ish.[They have a decent batting line up]

However, the weather remains an issue, and unfortunately the wicket is still playing well,so a draw is the most likely result[unfortunately]. Ironically, that lost day,may well have cost us the chance of winning the game.

I would be delighted to be proved wrong, and we manage to bowl them out.

I just think we would want as long as possible to bowl them out, given they're likely to be on the defensive right from the start. They're not going to be chasing runs with pretty much zero chance of winning the game, so if we were to bowl them out for 200-odd, that would give us a whopping target of about 30. I'd fancy our chances there

Assuming we only draw those 11 points put us on 131 from 13 games and 6th in the table.

Kent on same games are on 123

Essex after 14 are on 115

Warwickshire after 13 on 104

Essex & Warwickshire are playing but at lunch on day 2 the only play (yesterday) Essex 90-7

Fixtures to come for bottom 4

Lancashire v Hampshire

Warwickshire v Kent

Kent v Hampshire

Essex v Durham

Hampshire v Warwickshire

Yorkshire v Kent

Our games against Warwickshire & Kent look massive. Providing we avoid losing both or at least win one I think we will be safe. Essex favourites to go down. My tip will be Kent to join them.
