saint_bert Posted 23 August, 2010 Share Posted 23 August, 2010 Citeh looking very solid. Been very impressed with Adam Johnson and Yaya Toure. Scousers been abit meh, although they made Joe Hart make an outstanding treble save. Quality keeper there.
Andy_Porter Posted 23 August, 2010 Share Posted 23 August, 2010 Liverpool have been terrible. Gerrard and Torres in particular. Agreed about Adam Johnson, he should be a fixture in the England side from now on. Same with Joe Hart.
saint_bert Posted 23 August, 2010 Author Share Posted 23 August, 2010 Lovely stuff 3-0 Was very suprised AJ was not taken to the world cup. He will be a big player for England im sure. And like you say Joe Hart
Evil Monkey Posted 23 August, 2010 Share Posted 23 August, 2010 Hart, Milner, Johnson and Richards stood out, and they're all English. We're going to rinse euro 2012.

Agree, De Jong i always think is a great player and Kompany. Thought Lescott looked clumsy and gash though
SuperMikey Posted 23 August, 2010 Share Posted 23 August, 2010 No way was Lescott worth the £20m+ they paid for him, utterly ridiculous. He's gash. Looks like the Citeh team are starting to gel though, they could well be challenging for the title based on that game.
saint_bert Posted 23 August, 2010 Author Share Posted 23 August, 2010 Still with players like Balotelli, Silva, Adebayor all to come back into the team. Frightning really.

Andy_Porter Posted 24 August, 2010 Share Posted 24 August, 2010 (edited) Tevez up front with three from Silva, Milner, Balotelli and Johnson flooting behind with Toure and De Jong holding is frightening. They have so much talent going forward. Compare those seven with a similar selection from Liverpool (Torres, Kuyt, Gerrard, Jovanovic, Cole, Lucas and Poulsen) and you see the vast difference between the two teams not to mention the massive squad Man City have if any of them get injured. Liverpool really are going to get left behind especially now Mascherano and Aquiliani are both on their way. Andy_Porter Posted 24 August, 2010 Share Posted 24 August, 2010 (edited) For anyone who still thinks Gerrard is a world class central midfielder - http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/chalkboards/C839azdc186s0306713h 77% pass accuracy and only one succesfull ball into the box all night. Compare that with someone like Xavi, Iniesta, Scholes, Modric, Fabregas etc and it's just embarassing. Edited 25 August, 2010 by Arizona

I honestly wonder do they actually watch the games?
