SET Posted 22 August, 2010 Posted 22 August, 2010 Take a bow. What a fantastic strike that was yesterday. Good to see him delivering against the potential he had shown, and ram the jibes of doubting pundits down their throats.
damers Posted 22 August, 2010 Posted 22 August, 2010 Couldn't help but think Bale on one wing Walcott on the other while watching MOTD......If only.......
Legod Third Coming Posted 22 August, 2010 Posted 22 August, 2010 Couldn't help but think Bale on one wing Walcott on the other while watching MOTD......If only....... Aye, if only we'd had a chairman who'd invested in our youth policy... ahh... perhaps we should bring him back and put him in charge of the academy?
S-Clarke Posted 22 August, 2010 Posted 22 August, 2010 Hopefully the next batch of Bales and Theo's are not too far away, and their emergence coincides with us getting back to the PL.
SET Posted 22 August, 2010 Author Posted 22 August, 2010 Gets depressing when you do that though. Fuller and delap both played well too
musesaint Posted 22 August, 2010 Posted 22 August, 2010 (edited) Good for him ....but i get sick of seeing ex Saints players succeeding elsewhere Hopefully that will now be changing Edited 22 August, 2010 by musesaint
rick1976.4.38 Posted 22 August, 2010 Posted 22 August, 2010 sad but true it still makes me cheer kowing these two saints are playing so well.bales strike will be a contender for goal of the seaon and not a bad hat-trick from theo.if only we still had them .wifm
Nutwood2 Posted 22 August, 2010 Posted 22 August, 2010 Yep, great strike. He has become an awesome player. Good day for me yesterday (apart from the result) as I have Walcott and Bale in my fantasy team. Shame I didn't pick Fuller as well for a nice ex-Saints triple!
Saint_clark Posted 22 August, 2010 Posted 22 August, 2010 Bale left wing, Walcott right wing, Jones up front...we would have been unstoppable
Thedelldays Posted 22 August, 2010 Posted 22 August, 2010 bale is fecking brilliant.... now establishing himself as a left winger (that can play LB rather well)...his crossing is of the highest quality at least 8 times out of 10 and great technique... he is destined for bigger things than staying at the spuds.... theo looked really good yesterday..yeah it was only blackpool but he looked dangerous everytime he had the ball..and he seems to be getting in more central positions this season... still only 21.. we could have had a bloody good team if we never got bloody relegated lol
