saint_stevo Posted 21 August, 2010 Posted 21 August, 2010 Just seen them arrive at the ground. Car came right up to the door and about 5 people came out. Asked the steward that had cordoned us off who it was and was told the Liebherr family. Good to see

saint_stevo Posted 21 August, 2010 Author Posted 21 August, 2010 Frazer Richardson now signing autographs. I still await my mate with my ticket!
Deppo Posted 21 August, 2010 Posted 21 August, 2010 Please can you keep us updated like this all afternoon? These kind of details offer something different to the match thread. They make the rest of us feel like we are there.

Bailey Posted 21 August, 2010 Posted 21 August, 2010 Markus' family sat in box 20 today. During the minutes applause, they looked very emotional, with Markus' wife fighting back the tears. I do hope they saw today as a fitting tribute to our saviour, may he rest in peace. During the game, the family were getting animated and seemed to be enjoying the spectacle as much as they possibly could given the circumstances. I also noticed the appreciative grin that appeared on their faces when they realised the Northam were signing 'One Markus Liebherr'. A nice touch. Would love to see them return to St. Mary's throughout the season, and hopefully we can do them and Markus proud by winning promotion.

THINWHITEDUKE Posted 22 August, 2010 Posted 22 August, 2010 (Pedantic I know but they were in box 22), brought a lump to few peoples throats seeing their tears.
Deppo Posted 22 August, 2010 Posted 22 August, 2010 I was sat near them, and the Liebherrs looked really proud and emotional when the Northam were singing 'F*ck off!' to the police officer. I think it really touched them and made them see what a great set of supporters Saints have.

Eastcowzer Posted 22 August, 2010 Posted 22 August, 2010 Mrs Liebherr seemed to be most disappointed by the poor beer and leathery pasties Why am I not surprised at that. ?
