They do seem a bit gutted. How are we managing to get a potential first choice Serie A player to League 1? madness. I was suprised with Papa Waigo - but he wasn't involved at his club, by the stats this guy played a key role in getting them to Serie A.

'In recent days, the Brazilian prosecutor has intensified its relations with the leadership of Sothampton, with whom is on good terms. Yesterday there was a meeting with Campedelli, but it turned black and white because the owner was returning from trip to Germany. The agreement, however, seems to have been found in the coming hours and still do Prado frmerà a three-year with the England team, this operation will cash the Cesena one million euros. The Sothampton also asked not to field the player tonight (in the friendly against Brescia) and this evidence now remove all doubts on trafficking.

... And now ???... Executives ... ****! NO ALL OUT! and who now take its place Langella ???... are furious ...'

Corriere Romagna - Do Prado has a suitcase packed

Signed, sealed and delivered?! Seems like a cracking buy. Back to business for NC and AP!

Not going to get excited as I thought Papa Waigo would be different class in this league and he was average.

Waigo didn't look as good as this guy on YouTube videos! I am getting excited about this because he looks like one hell of a player and he would be well below his level in this league IMO!

You seem to forget that whenever AP deemed fit to put him on he created mayhem in opposition defences and was always on hand, in the right position to poach a goal.

Wow talk about two birds with one stone

this thread explains where our funding will now come from and solves the all important CM position issue AND what looks like a quality potential.

Will it be alleged white powder for the PL or Thai Massuers for former down the road types.

That NC works in mysterious ways

Well that certainly looks like the bloke I saw outside the Itchen Stand. with various stewards pointing him out as "the new signing". My main doubt is that he is supposed to be 6'2"....and I am 6'2" and he seemed a tad shorter than me....but certainly more athletic :-)

Hi,

This is my first post on here, as I normally just read whats going on.

Not sure if this link has been posted before http://www.tuttocesena.it/?action=read&idnotizia=679

Its worth translating but basically it says the deal is being slightly delayed due to Do "Bureaucratic problems". Basically where Do Prado is a Non EU player (born in brazil) the deal is being held up by this (I understand on the UK side). Hopefully he signs, as he has had a very good promotion season with Cesena last year and is highly rated by Cesena. I believe Cesena need the money to sign a Centre back.

Cheers Mike

According to a report today by the Gazzetta dello Sport, there would be a little bureaucratic snag in the negotiations that will do Prado at Southampton. The transfer is in fact been frozen pending the response from the committee examine the entry of non-EU players in England. The transfer should still be completed in the coming hours, as soon as you get the clearance of the committee.

Ceded Do Prado, Cesena was just a week to fill the gap left by Brazilian and arrange every last brick (carriers) which are still missing to this Cesena.

Papa also played at Cesena between 2005-07. I believe Nicola Cortese has possible links with someone at Fiorentina, probably from his Banking days.

It looks like Papa is still waiting to see what offers he has on the table, as it appears 3 or 4 teams are tracking him.

I was a big fan of Papa. Frustrating at times, but always had the ability to win the game. Personally I donk think our systems that we played him in totally suited him, especially when he started games for us.

From a guy on another forum who is either Italian or just follows Italian football...

"do Prado a star player?!

ahahahahahah

He's been barely average for Serie B bottom-half clubs, and Cesena have been trying to offload him the second they got promoted... I don't know, maybe he'd be class in League One, but I wouldn't hold my breath for such a player...

His scoring tally last year was due to him being the penalty taker..."
