iMac or pc help !!

My seven yr old laptop has gone to the recycle centre in th sky so I am in the market for a replacement. Key decision is iMac or regular pc. I need to use photoediting as I do wedding photography. And other multitasking excercises.

 

So people your input would be greatly appreciated.

If you can afford a Mac, then there's surely no decision to be made !

Agree with the above, even as a pc man for photo or video editing get a mac if you can afford one

Thanks peeps. I went to the apple store before the game today and had a really good look around the iMac 21.5. Bloody impressed!! Will be getting it next week at some point. Never seen a computer run so fast.

Good good Even my macbook which is bottom of the range (except for a ram upgrade), FULL of apps and is used stacks still runs as quickly as when it was clean installed. Of course, this is far more testament to OSX as an operating system than the mac hardware itself, but still.

check out apple refurb in google, its from apple directly, i just got my third one from there and am well chuffed with it. They sell returns etc and there are some savings to be made. Mine came with the screen protector etc all in place and appears new. Delivery was next day too.
