Macey_J2 Posted 20 August, 2010 Share Posted 20 August, 2010 http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/8344413.Snow_leopard_sightings_claimed_in_Hampshire/ "A giant bizarre-looking creature that is said to be 4ft long, 2ft high and about four times the size of a domestic feline has been spotted by numerous residents. There have been five reported sightings of the cat in the last few weeks by several different people, all in the Valley Park area of Chandler’s Ford. It has been seen strolling across a sleepy cul-de-sac in the middle of the afternoon, raiding bins and even patiently waiting on a traffic island in a busy road for an opportunity to cross. The latest sighting was by county, district and parish councillor Alan Dowden and his wife and fellow councillor Celia as it strolled past them in Knightwood Road. Cllr Dowden drew a sketch of what the animal looked like and added: “I have never seen anything like it before in a zoo or in the wild. It could have its lair anyway in the countryside around here and live off rabbits and small animals." Sounds crazy, i hope someone gets a pic. Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 21 August, 2010 Share Posted 21 August, 2010 If there's anything in this story, it's probably a European Lynx. Probably got in with a bunch of Albanians in the back of a chipboard truck.
Turkish Posted 21 August, 2010 Share Posted 21 August, 2010 So we've got Leopards in Chandlers Ford, Pumas in West End and the New Forest. Millions of people in Kenya have never seen a big cat but in England they seem to be on every street corner.

Smirking_Saint Posted 22 August, 2010 Share Posted 22 August, 2010 The lynx was always a native species, its probably one of them. Unless a midget spotted a large black tabby
1976_Child Posted 22 August, 2010 Share Posted 22 August, 2010 There are probably quite a few Mac OS X V 10.6 in, or around, Valley Park. Good to know that the fair folk of Valley Park are using the best OS ever written.
