Reading the watch thread has made me realise what a great loss the death of Markus is to Nicola Cortese and his family. I for one want to acknowledge this and send my personal condolences to Nicola and his family.

Agree, NC is very important to this club as it was him how told marcus about saint to start with, marcus had alot of faith in NC and by how well he had done I think he must know who to trust.

Agree -said as much on the other thread:

"Must be a really tough time for Nicola C at the moment - from the memorial's transcript it is obvious that he has lost a dear friend and comrade-in-arms. His head must be swimming at the moment and must have some pretty mixed feelings about what he's doing and where he's going. Cant be easy to come into work every day and know that part of what made things so meaningful is gone. Do feel real sympathy for the guy - quite apart from the fact that he is now the critical link to our future"

Shurlock, that sums it up! Whatever has been written here we must all get behind Nicola and respect his personal grief. Markus RIP...

Then do it. Why start a thread saying you are going to do it? It may well be a tough time for Mr Cortese at the moment. I imagine it is far tougher for Markus's family.

Please explain what you mean?

Okay, two points...

1) Why, for the love of God, can you lot not have one thread which doesn't resort to personal point scoring? On this of all subjects. These arguments are like the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still a retard. Just DON'T reply to posts if they upset you.

2) There are enough threads on Markus' passing already. It's a valid point RE: Cortese, but it could be quite easily posted in the existing tribute thread. If you genuinely want to express your condolences to Cortese, why not write to or email him.
