rocknrollman no2 Posted 21 August, 2010 Share Posted 21 August, 2010 Whatever the crowd numbers,it was a shame we couldnt at least exceed 30,000 to say thankyou to Markus.
itchen_dan Posted 21 August, 2010 Share Posted 21 August, 2010 Same, looked a lot more than at the Plymouth game. It looked (from the Itchen North) that the Kingsland and rest of the Itchen looked very busy and that we had more of the Northam today than usual. Also the Chapel looked reasonably full today as well. Was surprised when I saw on the OS that there was only 21k.
SNSUN Posted 21 August, 2010 Share Posted 21 August, 2010 I impregnated my girlfriend at half time, and this rough looking bird that was hanging around the blokes bogs, AND the sweetheart that sold me my halftime hotdog, so that added three more unofficial numbers to the crowd, but it still wasn't high enough. I apologise. I will be trying harder next time.
Sour Mash Posted 23 August, 2010 Share Posted 23 August, 2010 I reckon that attendance figure of 21k must be wrong, no-way was there 11k of empty seats from what I could see. Having said that, still a very disappointing turn-out from Saints fans, can't believe we couldn't turn out 30k for such an occasion.
Dave Benson Phillips Posted 23 August, 2010 Share Posted 23 August, 2010 lol @ people saying the club figures where wrong. There didn't look anywhere near 22k for the Plymouth game, yet nobody disputed that. Dress it up any way you want. 21k was embarrassing after having last weekends match postponed. I agree the crowd was no-where near as big as it should have been, 30k+ is what we should have got for such an occassion. But you honestly think there were 11k seats empty at Saturday's game?
