No he won't. One more test match before the Ashes? Not the time to experiment with a new opener, time to accept that England have had a sh1t day and move on. If they were going to send him back to his County they would have done it for this match and tried Trott at the top. It's much too late for that now.

 

The same goes for KP. Not the time to drop either of them. (But Carberry should definitely be in the squad for the winter)
