S-Clarke Posted 17 August, 2010 Share Posted 17 August, 2010 lol...if anyone wants a laugh, 27 mins gone. young boys 3 - 0 - spurs. they are totally being ripped apart, could be 4/5-0. Spurs fans were suggesting earlier that they would get to the semi's of the CL....

itchen_dan Posted 17 August, 2010 Share Posted 17 August, 2010 They look so poor. There is huge gaps everywhere in their team. The YB's midfielders have too much time on the ball and Spurs aren't even getting anywhere near them. Spurs' centre backs, Dawson & Bassong, look so shaky. I'd be so ****ed off if I spent that amount of money to go over there and watch that.

itchen_dan Posted 17 August, 2010 Share Posted 17 August, 2010 Harry's twitching enough to power the national grid! He looks unbelievably angry. It looks nothing like the same side that dominated in the Man City game. Crouchy needs to come on for Pavlyuchenko so they can hit it long and get Defoe to make runs off of him. They need to pull one back before half time.

itchen_dan Posted 17 August, 2010 Share Posted 17 August, 2010 They got the 1 back! Still don't think they'll get anything from this tonight but will win the return leg at the Lane and get into the group stages.

Zurichsaint Posted 17 August, 2010 Share Posted 17 August, 2010 I wouldn't bet against YB scoring at White Hart Lane as well. They create a lot of chances, and won away at Fenerbahce in the last round. Cracking 1st half anyway..

I dont get it...he is easily one of the mosy dangerous attacking left sided players around..his crossing is amazing..yet arry puts him further back at LB..? not as if bale is a luxury, he works his socks off.. They said during the Man City game on saturday that he was set to join Notts Forest on loan last year when he was out of the picture. I can see that being more likely. hamster Posted 17 August, 2010 Share Posted 17 August, 2010 Young Boys could be our 'feeder club'. That would be absolutely awesome, what a place to train our next generation of saints but away from prying eyes and playing their football at a relatively high level. Who's their manager, get him in as AP's assistant.
