SuperMikey Posted 13 August, 2010 Share Posted 13 August, 2010 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/8909409.stm 21 votes for Chelsea to come 1st 6 votes for Man Utd to come 1st 2 votes for Arsenal to come 1st 2 votes for Man City to come 1st 2 votes for Liverpool to come 1st That's pretty conclusive then! I think it'll be a close thing at the top, but Chelsea will win it in the last few games imo. Methinks the table will look like; 01- Chelsea 02- Man Utd 03- Man City 04- Arsenal 05- Tottenham 06- Liverpool 07- Everton 08- Birmingham 09- Aston Villa 10- Stoke 11- Sunderland 12- Fulham 13- Bolton 14- West Ham 15- Newcastle 16- Wolves 17- Blackburn ---------------- 18- Wigan 19- West Brom 20- Blackpool

SuperMikey Posted 13 August, 2010 Author Share Posted 13 August, 2010 I'm not so sure, there are big gaps in the Arsenal team. They still need a quality striker, something they had in Adebayor, and CB is also an issue. If they can sign someone like Gary Cahill or Phil Jagielka as they've been mooted, then they might have a chance. Almunia is a decent enough goalie imo, it's just in other areas of the team that they need a bit more strength, as they're a bit lightweight in most areas. St Landrew Posted 13 August, 2010 Share Posted 13 August, 2010 What is most disappointing about that whole table is that those teams out of the top 6, indeed those out of the top 4, probably haven't got a cat's chance in hell of lifting the Premier League Championship... possibly ever..! I don't need an excuse, not to be interested in other football clubs, but it's probably that reason that caps my total and utter lack of interest in how the Premier League turns out. I'm not saying this thread is boring, of course. Perish the thought.
saint_bert Posted 13 August, 2010 Share Posted 13 August, 2010 I think Hernandez? could be the signing to make United champions again. If they get Ozil, then I would have them down to win the CL also.
