He's always had a reputation as a bit of a quitter. Who can forget his 33 days at Man City.

didn't someone post that he was a shoe in for the next Sunderland manager next summer when Bruce quits.

He could now become our DoF. Would be a great chance to relieve some of the pressure on Cortese and let him manage the finances while Coppell and Pardew can sort out the football side of things.
