Saints foreva Posted 11 August, 2010 Posted 11 August, 2010 What does this mean for our club? Thank you Markus, RIP.
Whitey Grandad Posted 11 August, 2010 Posted 11 August, 2010 RIP what the f*ck happens now I'm sure that's the question that's on all our minds, but perhaps a few days of mourning and quiet reflection would be appropriate. To answer your question, I was told just after the takeover that there was a trust fund set up for just such an eventuality which contained a sizeable sum, although funding a return to the Premiership might be beyond it. It's down to all who support Saints to pull together in these sad times.
Viking Warrior Posted 11 August, 2010 Posted 11 August, 2010 I hope every saints fan signs that book of condolence the club as a very special and fitting tribute to the great man. RIP
RonManager Posted 11 August, 2010 Posted 11 August, 2010 Cheers old mate. We'll try to do your memory justice - you'll always be remembered in the world of football as the man who saved the Saints. Farewell.

doughnutman Posted 11 August, 2010 Posted 11 August, 2010 RIP Marcus Liebherr . Saints fans everywhere will always be grateful to you for saving our club.
Quickfire Double Posted 11 August, 2010 Posted 11 August, 2010 Can't believe it. Rest in peace Markus, thanks for saving Saints.
CB Fry Posted 11 August, 2010 Posted 11 August, 2010 Stunned. This, and the sad death of young Stansfield, shows that neither youth nor wealth can help you when the day comes. Very very sad. Just a shame from a Saints point of view that he now won't see us finish the job and take the club back to the top division, the ascent he kickstarted barely a year ago.
Viking Saint Posted 11 August, 2010 Posted 11 August, 2010 Stunned....condolences to the Liebherr family...thank you Markus, for all you did for our club.....RIP
Danish Saint Posted 11 August, 2010 Posted 11 August, 2010 I'm in utter shock and disbelief. Rest in peace Mr. Liebherr. May saints and angels carry you to a better place.

RIP ,Markus..... now it's all the more important that we win the league and re-pay the faith that he showed in our comparatively little club.. bless you ML....xxxxx
