Until I hear from an employee who verifies all of these 'rumours' about him, I simply do not care. He is running our club like a business - and for that reason he should be applauded, not slagged off every 5 minutes. We've got the best squad we've had in years, we've got a BILLIONAIRE owner for christ's sake - WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT? Christ on a bike, Lowe knew when his game was up and walked away 'business-like' - when you consider that amateur outfit down the M27 it shows us as the better club. We're better than all this back-biting. BE PROUD - BE SAINTS

Also I would disagree that Lowe walked out dignified - I think you will find the administrator would not take on the club with Lowe at the helm. He had no choice.

But the things he has done do not effect me. They don't even effect the club. Some people make his actions out to be like he went into an orphanage and butchered everyone or something. What he has done is turn Southampton fc into a business that can stand on it's own two feet. Nearly every company tries to do this. To not do this will oneday bite you in the ass. He has turned the club around from a financial disaster into a healthy business prospect. Turned the club from a sinking ship into a floating beast. The fact is over the course of last year 3/4 very vocal posters on here had it in for him and now they pick up on every little thing and will post it. Some of the stuff is just laughable and they truely believe it. 99% of what has been written by the media and people is based off of rumour. You watch someone threaten them with legal action over their claims and see how fast they distance themselves from it. This is the age we live in, you can make up anything about anyone you want from behind a computer. The vast majority of Saints fans couldn't give a monkies what Cortese does. As long as we win stuff (which we have) and keep going up the leagues he will have the backing of the supporters. A few people on here who are so against him are the same people who are against pretty much anyone at the club over the years. Just change Cortese's name with anyone from our past and your see the same threads by the same people. If GOD was our chairman, made us into the biggest club in the word, we won all the cups and all the leagues. There would still be some tit complaining about something trivial like the colour of the painting in the toilets. People like to complain, simple as that.

Hi All, I just wanted to quickly say that i'm so glad that a lot of you are now realizing that the football club isn't as safe as everyone thought a year ago. Having recently left employment at the club (voluntarily), mainly down to certain people there, Cortese included, and not liking the way the club is being run, i am very glad to be out! Love the team and Pardew, but the management is shocking and it affects the whole club and team, and stuff like this has been happening none stop since Cortese took over. He makes ridiculous decisions, and then goes back on it when he realizes he was wrong. I know most of the office was looking for jobs when i left!... just thought you should all know incase anyone was still thinking Cortese is a God! - Markus yes, Cortese no

From the scrap heap to ruthless ambition in 13 short and enjoyable months. I will happily take the rougher edges of Cortese's personality if it also brings the success he craves.
