Tonight I will be drinking in Englands most haunted pub, the Golden Fleece in York. The pub appeared on most haunted, and all the set and film crew ran from the pub in tears. What will happen to me in the bogs?

Meet me in the bogs at 9pm, I'll be wearing a black raincoat with white cowboy boots. What hotel are you in Keith?

Although not a pub, I worked at a hotel near Croydon called Selsdon Park. It has a wing to it that was built in Tudor times, it remains pretty much original and is said to be haunted by 'The Grey Lady'. Although I never did get to meet her, I can honestly say it was a sheeeeite scary place with all sorts of weird and wonderful stories coming from that part of the building.

I hope you enjoy your visit, and hope you have a story or two to tell on your return... But do keep your goings on in the bogs to yourself please! ;)

Just before I meet Keith in the 'most haunted pub in England', I stayed at the Angel & Blue Pig in Lymington, now that was bloody scary, we booked the whole hotel, and the poor couple John and Paul on the top floor got woken at 2pm in the morning by a small girl who was covered in blood. They ran out of the room downstairs to reception, and when they returned 10 minutes later the whole bedroom was covered in dry blood and mucus, and it was smashed to bits.

Keith, If you fancy a couple in the GF later, I'll be in there from 8.30pm. What do you look like?

My local is haunted. They say there is a bar wench who serves but she is hardly ever there. Every now and again a limp soul wanders in behind the bar; alas she is but a ghost of a proper bar maid.

The King and Castle, a Lloyds No1 bar in Windsor, is supposedly haunted. Before its last refurb, I used to get lock ins quite a bit, and there was one particular store cupboard on the stairs that was supposed to be the centre of the hauntings by a female ghost. Naturally on one of the lock ins we were telling ghost stories, and I actually offered to be locked in the cupboard for five minutes. Now I tend to believe in the supernatural, but I am relieved to say I didn't encounter anything untoward, in fact I was more freaked out by the spiders.

The cupboard is now gone, but I'm sure there are one or two places in Windsor that remain haunted, including perhaps, the biggest building of them all...

A few years ago I was at a company do at New Place in Shirrell Heath. I hadn`t been drinking because I was driving. At the end of the evening I went to the bog before driving home. I was stood having a ****, and there was nobody else in there. I heard the door open and close and heard and "felt" footsteps walk into the toilet and walk around behind me. I really felt that some-one was there. I could see the entrance from the basin area (where the actual toilet entrance was) into the urinal area and it was obvious that there was actually no-one there. It was a weird but wonderful feeling that I genuinely was experiencing something paranormal - if thats what it was.

I've been in the Highwayman Inn on the west edge of Dartmoor (another pub covered by mongs Derek and Evette). We were the only ones in there. Creepy old place. No ghosts though. No beer on tap. Boooo!

Oh I know the one, just before you get to Plymouth coming up country. I went in there 10 years ago and the place was filthy with dead stuffed animals everywhere. They even had human skulls scattered around the pub.

Done a ghost investigation there, scariest thing was the decor...

Go and speak to the friendly landlady.

obviously none of you have been to the brushmakers inn in upham near bishops waltham/fair oak, dates back to pre cromwell times (infact cromwell stayed there on his way to winchester) and is haunted by approx 3 ghosts ...(i should know, i've worked/work there) lol

Yes that's the one. Set alone on the Tavistock road. Pretty filthy and tacky, but I think they like it that way for the sake of tourists.

I went on an overnight paranormal investigation at the Red Lion with these people, www.hauntedsouthampton.com

was a very scary night and lots happened, they had two mediums was one of my best nights out ever.

Isn't there a young boy who wanders around the bar. And an old lady who works in the kitchen, and then there's the man who was murdered in one of the bedrooms. I actually met a man dressed in old costume whilst walking to the toilets down that long cold corridor, I stepped to one side to let him pass, and there was no one there. The place is crawling with ghosts.

The landlady is a witch who lives opposite the pub she will not stay in the pub to sleep.

The pub offers rooms but not many people stay it is a bit too creepy for most.

It's late. I watched The Damned United on DVD, browsed the forum and saw a thread about Haunted Pulis

Must get my reading glasses sorted out or cut back on the second bottle of Ramadan Special Wine promo

There is an overnight paranormal investigation going on at a reputed haunted pub in Southampton 24th September , all details here if your interested, http://hauntedsouthampton.com/ghosthunts.html

I went on an investigation with them a year ago, right at the start of their group (the red lion in boldre) haven't been on one since though - pleased that they've managed to get all the exposure they have. Really good bunch of people.

£40 seemed a good price, but then I realised it didn't include lager or spirits, just lemonade and coca cola, f*ck that, it keeps me awake all night. Surely it would be a better crack after ten pints of lager. Can someone please speak to the ghost master and sort this little hiccup out, me, I'm off to Bedfordshire.

On the contrary, all spirits are free.

There was a programme on Channel 4 last night about paranormal activities. It had the usual activities you see them do, like basketball and track events, but they also do wheelchair tennis now. It was amazing!

I would love to beleive in ghosts but it is clearly ********.

I would happily sleep for the night in Auschwitz on Halloween. I would be more worried about my gas bill.

you should join hauntedsouthampton on facebook if you are even remotely curious about these things, overnight get togethers in 'haunted' pubs run by a nice bunch.

I can 100% understand people who do not 'believe' I can also however not explain some of the things that have happened in THIS house since we moved in, tis spooky but not scary.
