Not sure we need this sort of cr@p...............

Agreed - anything that's going to cause problems we could do without. Fair enough we're one of the richest clubs in the country - we don't need to be making controversial decisions like this and rocking the boat though! First decision NC has made which really does concern me - I can't see him changing his mind either!

The lifelong Argyle fan said: "It was brilliant. After the struggle for points last season, it was great to start with an away win, especially against Southampton."

Especially against Southampton!? :(

Is it not the save from Lallana's shot? Lallana came on in the second half, as we were shooting towards the Chapel.

Hence the caption.

That's what I thought when I first saw it. I didn't think number '2' was playing so I can only assume it must be '20'. Typical inaccurate match report.

I'm a bit surprised that an administrator sets the example of starting a new thread on a topic that is currently covered by another thread. The link to this cartoon had already been posted on the other thread. It's going to be a bit difficult for another mod to close it now, isn't it?

But if the Plymouth local rag is anything like ours, cartoons would be appropriate, as that's also a comic. They really must have loved the opportunity to extend the possibilities to extend their coverage by several more column inches because of their righteous indignation and petulent foot-stamping. But now that issue is fish and chip wrapping and will soon be a distant memory, so they'll have to think up some other issue at next week's game.

Very good cartoons

But is the banning of the Herald more to do with the new group who are part of the Echo group by any chance

The Plymouth Evening Herald is owned by DMGT (Daily Mail General Trust) while our beloved Echo is owned by American group Gannett (Newsquest in the UK). So no, not connected.

Evening Herald offices are in the shape of a giant ship, you know. I've been there. True story.

Today Plymouth,

tomorrow the World.

not long before everyone is laughing at us...

And just to think, in the past we've had to rely on a statue to achieve that.

Hilarious!!

And none of this humour would have been possible if it wasn't down to Nic. Fair play Nic, bringing comedy back to the masses. I salute you sir.

I agree, football needs more fools to laugh at.

I don't think they stopped. Most of the world think we are still broke under the Lowe yoke.

I am the only one who thinks it's a completely pointless banning outside photographers from our ground if the opposition are just going to hand over the same photo's anyway? What's the point? Does this mean Nicola is going to have a stand off with plymouth now?

Just thinking about it makes me chuckle. What happened to it? Please don't tell me it was melted down.

It was melted down and used to make the statue that stands there now.

In a way, it's still stood there...
