Can anyone reccomend a decent TV repair company? My Flat screen went poof after being off for a coupkle of weeks due to us redecorating the living room, and when I put it on it went on for about five minutes then a click and off.

 

I haven't had to have a TV repaired in such a long time I don't know who to go to, and don't want to be ripped of.

 

Any help would be greatfully recived.

I'm assuming it's out of guarantee Secret? I was told a couple of weeks back that the 'accepted' 12 months may not necesarily apply as items should last much longer than that nowadays.

It's a couple of years old, and I could argue under sale of goods act about reasonable time for enjoyment, but that starts to stretch after 18 months, (i'm a bit of an anorack on the Sale Of Goods act and consumer law.)
