No.

btw - how did you start your own poll? I thought only the mods could do that. Unless of course they did, in which case I'll shut up hencewith.

Full members can start polls on this forum

Now you tell us..... ;-)

I often wondered (through long sleepless nights) why we couldn't do that on the old forum....

It will end today if the court finds in favour of HMRC. PFC should then go into liquidation

If they find in favour of PFC, HMRC will appeal and it will carry on.

If HMRC do win, I'd imagine Pompey will appeal tomorrow, so that's one more day it has to live for, at least.

interesting and depressing at the same time that the main Saints forum has currently got fewer people viewing than the lounge, I cant personally recall that happening before

Has happened last two days at least. All the Summer the main board has been like a car crash involving your family, whereas the lounge has been watching a car crash involving Poopey. Big difference!

I don't see how people can vote yes as both parties have said they will take it to the Court of Appeal on Friday if they lose.

SO assuming this gets dragged out, Poopey will lose 15-20 points for being in admin at the start of the season, yes ?

No.

They will only get another points deduction if they attempt to exit administration without a CVA having been formally agreed. There's absolutely no chance that they'll do that, because the minute they do, HMRC will simply revive the original winding-up petition and that'll be that.

Hang on, are you effectively saying they could stay in admin and get promoted even, the whole season without attempting to satisfy their creditors ?

In theory, yes. However, they would require Chainrai continuing to dip his hand in his pocket to fund the losses they're still making, and they've got a squad of about 15 players, the majority of whom aren't good enough, and they're under a transfer embargo so can't sign anyone else.

It is only next summer when they have to come out of administration as FL rules state that a club cannot begin two successive seasons in administration.

But, taking this to the ridiculous extreme, if they got promoted they would be back under PL rules, so maybe they could start next season in admin.
