swannymere Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 I'm so proud! just like to share the fact that my 7 year old godson Toby who emigrated with his parents to Thornlands near Brisbane a year ago has started celebrating his goals for his junior team in a Mick Channon style windmill, along with the shout of 'There's only one Mick Channon!'. Despite none of the other kids and even his coach knowing who Mick is (probably tbh including Toby) it made my heart swell with pride
swannymere Posted 1 August, 2010 Author Posted 1 August, 2010 On a separate note does anyone know where i can get a good quality photo or poster of Mick Channon doing 'the windmill' celebration?
hamster Posted 1 August, 2010 Posted 1 August, 2010 Added to your 'Moments to cherish' list. Pleased for you Swanny, does he wear his Saints shirt over there?
swannymere Posted 1 August, 2010 Author Posted 1 August, 2010 Yep, they cam back in June and his father bought them both the new home shirts, they wear them with pride in and around Thornlands/Redlands near Brisbane.
