skintsaint Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 Arsenal youngsters Emmanuel Frimpong and Mark Randall, who both play in midfield, are loan targets for Southampton and Hull respectively. Apparently...
SNSUN Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 Frimpong? Sounds like a problem I'm faced with after a bad curry, only with an 'f' in front.
Pilchards Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 I'd like to add that you should keep an eye on these two youngsters at Arsenal, I know I am Emmanuel Frimpong - this guy is the next Michael Essien. Powerful, non-stop engine, he is a real beast in midfield. Destined to be a holding midfielder of absolute quality, England have lost out with him switching to Ghana. Jay Emmanuel-Thomas - This guy is built like a brick ****house. He hasn't actually got a permanent position, but I'd like to see him make it as a striker. Very similar to Drogba, powerful and brutish at the same time as skillful and sublime. Both will probably get loaned out this season, but they are both real prospects.
Colinjb Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 Fm2010? Just checked, doesn't look anything special.
Daren W Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 Must sign Frimpong , if for no other reason than I want "Emmanual Frimpong" on the back of a shirt. Surely the best name ever....
70's Mike Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 if we do sign him, his name will be shorten to EF , very soon
boxosponge Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 Would seem to both be good loan targets because neither will have a chance of being in the Arsenal 25 man PL squad http://www.arsenal.com/reserves-youth/players/emmanuel-frimpong http://www.arsenal.com/reserves-youth/players/jay-emmanuel-thomas
liquidsnake Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 Would seem to both be good loan targets because neither will have a chance of being in the Arsenal 25 man PL squad They're both under 21, therefore that rule doesn't apply to them.
positivepete Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 They're both under 21, therefore that rule doesn't apply to them. Indeed, the squad can be over 25 if the extras are Under 21. It is the over 21's who will have to go out on loan, perhaps this is the group that AP is waiting for?
Turkish Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 i've been longing for us to sign a player called Emmanuel so we can sing the song... "he's french, he's quick, his names a porno flick, Emmanuel, emmanuel" Although this guy is Ghanian, FFS, ruins the song, might have to swap French with black or something else that fits.

Maybe Pardew had words with the Barnet manager as they played Arsenal a few weeks ago... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lt1nn1vG3UI&feature=player_embedded
Saint Fan CaM Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 Wow that lad looks really handy - break play up skillfully, can cross the ball and can distribute really well too. Sign him Pards!
shurlock Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 Wow that lad looks really handy - break play up skillfully, can cross the ball and can distribute really well too. Sign him Pards! Has a bit of a Magilton pass about him, though. No guesses where any ball sideways or backwards to a defender is going.... Still sharp and quick in the tackle.

Turkish Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 he's big, he's black he gooooood in the sack emanuel...emanuel ok, no then cant we get him to do a Desailly and switch nationalities? It'd show his commitment to us if nothing else.
Thedelldays Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 cant we get him to do a Desailly and switch nationalities? It'd show his commitment to us if nothing else. I would be happy if he just gets his shlong out...to be honest
Turkish Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 I would be happy if he just gets his shlong out...to be honest it'd be great for crosses into the box, he could flop it out and use it instead of a diving header.
Dazza82 Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 Arsenal youngsters Emmanuel Frimpong and Mark Randall, who both play in midfield, are loan targets for Southampton and Hull respectively. Apparently... Cant see Wenger wanting to any deals with Pardew they are hardley best of friends following their bust up a while ago. Here's hoping though as he looks like what we need in the middle
Saint Charlie Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 Frimpong is playing on SS3 in a min, part of a strong Arsenal team playing AC Milan.
Saint-Reece Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 Going to be watching Frimpong closely during Arsenal vs. AC Milan should be good game, but Arsenal will lose, Fabianski is in goal
Viking Warrior Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 Having been watching him on SS3 and he does look good
The Kraken Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 Would be quite surprised if he dropped down as far as League One; I'd have thought that at least a Championship club or even a low end Prem club might take a punt with him. Would be quite a coup if we were to get him.
funkymojo44 Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 about the passing thing, interesting read here; http://www.zonalmarking.net/2010/07/30/central-midfield-role/
Ewell Posted 31 July, 2010 Posted 31 July, 2010 I cannot see a guy starting for Arsenal in their prestige pre season tournament being aloud to leave for a league 1 club. Wenger hates his young players getting kicked in the lower leagues which is why he doesn't often let the best ones go out on loan. You are dreaming if you think he is coming to Saints!

Ewell Posted 1 August, 2010 Posted 1 August, 2010 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/a/arsenal/8875644.stm Wenger talking him up. With the new premier league squad rules this lad is not coming to play in league 1!
fareham saint phil Posted 2 August, 2010 Posted 2 August, 2010 Commentator said yesterday that Arsenal said None of their youngsters would be going out on loan this season

I think he'll end up staying with Arsenal now, he really played well in the friendly games and has kind of made wenger setup and take note, it's probably worth him staying around as he'll probably be required at some point.
Saint Garrett Posted 2 August, 2010 Posted 2 August, 2010 http://http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/a/arsenal/8875644.stm Wenger rates him quite highly !
