Saint in Paradise Posted 30 July, 2010 Share Posted 30 July, 2010 A while ago on another thread Dubai Phil told of a friend who is a frequent business class flyer being bumped off a BA flight. Well today I heard of a friend who booked and paid for 2 adult and 3 children return business class Auckland to London. When they checked in they were told that there had been an electronic error so sorry but 3 of you can't go business you have to go cattle class. The man is also a frequent business class flyer and is now back here in NZ. The family come back in 3 months time but they might be trying to change airlines, I know I would. What a nasty thing to do, wait until they book in knowing full well it is far too late to make alternative arrangements and then just saying "sorry but tough" . As it happens I flew economy with Air NZ to Los Angeles a few weeks ago - probably the best economy Ive used.
