Season Football bets

Gillingham are my tip, but if Southend get themselves out of the poo financially and sign some decent players before it's too far into the season, they might be contenders too. Rotherham are also a safe bet.

I've got a fiver on Saints to win the league at 5/2, pays £17 which ain't too shabby.

Also got a long-odds on league winners being Chelsea, Nottm Forest, Saints, Gillingham, Luton and Rangers, which has odds of something like 4463/1. Put a quid on that.

If you want an good outside bet for League 2 then go for Shrewsbury. Can't believe they were 16/1 when I did my bet a couple of weeks ago. I always do a win yankee that way you get a payout if you only get 2 or 3 out of 4. Last year I got £68 return for a £2.20 bet having picked Norwich, Notts County and Inverness, only WBA let me down otherwise I would have got over £600. This season I have gone for Chelsea, Middlesbrough, Saints and Shrewsbury with a £4.40 bet.

Premiership: Chelsea

Championship: Boro

League One: Saints

League Two: Gillingham

SPL: Rangers

Champions League: Barcelona

£200 Acca. Pays just over a million !!!!!

Mate - if that comes in I hope to see you in Indiana for a few pints - and you're paying!!!!

On Stan James it pays 6046.52 for quid (1,209,304.69 for 200).

I've had a sly tenner on it. If it comes in then we'll split the beer tab.

Only doing this cos I couldn't decide what bets to do for the season. You're a bit of jammy sod sometimes so why not - I'd rather lose a tenner than cry if it did come in and I hadn't backed it!

Everyone reading this - you know you should put at least a quid on it.... It's gonna happen :-)

(if they all come in bar Saints then I will wear a Pompey shirt for the day - ok praps a couple of hours - ok praps 20 mins - ok I'll just put one on for 5 seconds - in a dark room with nobody else around)

Europa League – Liverpool @ 10/1]

That'll scank you up. Never bet on the Scousers. Horrible accent, horrible city, horrible team and way too many glory supporters. I'd say 90% of Liverpool fans you meet have not got a scouse accent. 90% is being generous. More like 99% if they are in their early 40's (ie a nipper when Lpool won everything).

Must admit I think I'd die laughing with my 60 grand if the rest come in (as per Kaiser's bet) and that one doesn't. Seriously - re-do the bet without Liverpool in it.

Never bet on the UEFA Cup outright at this stage of the season - half way through you get the Champions League drop outs who generally hold more clout than the original entrants.

Exactly. Only City would tempt me before. Anyway here is mine. £1 stake on

Prem: Chelsea

Championship: Boro

League 1: Saints

League 2: Gillingham

Scotland: Celtic

Champions League: Real Madrid.

Gets me just over 9 grand.

They have special slips for it mate if need be. But if not basicly write what you want to bet on a slip , for example list the teams and say to win their league , so man u to win prem saints to win league 1 etc. At bottom of slip write £ accumulator depending on what you want to put on.. If still confused pm me and I will give u my mobile number and talk you through it if you like

select the league you want mate, make sure you are looking at the outright market ,then select the team.. for example league 1 then click on saints.. repeat this for all the other teams you want in your acca. then you should see a betting slip on screen, below your selections will be a drop bar... it might say bet type... then you select accumulator, and enter your stake.. some sites have live help that will talk you through it.
