Also very minor pitch invasion at Leyton.

That was cringe worthy. He looked like chunk out of the goonies clad head to toe in polyester - they should have thrown a match at him and let him burn. I expect he was one of Turkish's mates.

Funny that, I thought it was you, then remembered you'd be locked in the toilets with your wallet out staring at your pictures of Alex Reid ;)

We shouldn't talk about pre/post match strip clubs on the main board. Surely you know that everyone on this board simply travels straight to the stadium and home again, it's all about the 90 minutes you see.

And advocating violence but wishing Denise had 'kicked your c*nt in' Not place for it, serious football talk only please.

I did plenty of away games last season and only MKD in the JPT springs to mind.

It was a bit moody at Leeds, but it usually is and there was some heated folk at Tranmere but nowt special.

Bit moody at Leeds? The closest thing to trouble was one of the Leeds stewards decided to go face to face with one of our youth after he gave him a gentle ribbing. Mind you the steward had a face & nose that looked like he'd already done 15 rounds with Tyson in the not to distant past!

Funny old place Leeds, need to keep your wits about you, i got my arse kicked up there about 10 years ago for doing nothing.

I don't think I've ever seen any real trouble or aggro at a game, probably been to about 55 aways over the last couple of seasons and around 10 a season for the five or six seasons before that. The police do seem to go way ott with us on occasions, Milwall last season in particular was a joke.

I think the 'cat c' reputation must come from the sheer amount of people who get slaughtered at our games - stand outs that I can remember Blackpool 08-09, Southend 08-09, Orient 09-10 and pretty much every trip to Charlton, Milwall etc. I doubt it's down to the sort of numbers we take, in the season before last there still seemed to be a massive amount of policing and we didn't really travel very well that season...

There were loads of saints out in Blackpool the night before that game. All the youth were trying to cause trouble but weren't old enough to get into the clubs

I remember Blackpool far too well, infact one of only a handfull of games over the last couple of years where I was stupid enough to drive. Being surrounded by that many ****ed up blokes when you're stone cold sober isn't much fun.

Plenty of ours were wrapped up by the OB in the city centre and escorted to the ground and it was a tad moody afterwards IMHO.

Yes.

It's safe to say I had downed a few lagers that day, yes. Stephen Crainey wound me up a tad, as did the over-zealous police officer. 6 hours in a fookin cell, by the time I was released all the lads were even more trashed. So I met them, had one pint and went back to the hotel. :-(

Poor Stu.

p.s - I never did work out as I was being dragged the full length of the pitch whether everyone was booing me or booing the police for dragging me out. I hope it was the latter, I'm sure it was. :D

The funniest thing from that game was when the young lad (probably 8-9 or so) lumped the police woman who was trying to calm him down after his Dad got chucked out. I don't think anyone watching was expecting it at all. :)

It was carnage, absolute carnage to be fair. I still don't know what I got nicked for, some people in the crowd said I took a swing for the OB, but I honestly don't remember that. Beer is bad.

I think the main reason we are Cat C so often is the sheer level of p!ssedness the majority of Saints fans get at away games.

Fair enough - I'd driven down from Edinburgh for that one - tried to pop in the only pub near the ground but it was full so got turned away. Good job too as had to fight through 2 foot of snow on the way back up the A1. Luckily an hour after we went through they closed it so missed on a night out in Newcastle (so possibly not so lucky).

Hmmmm... I think you might be reffering to myself, But I certainly don't see myself as one of our "Youth". I was stood in front of my seat, I was asked by the old, miserable, saggy faced tw/*t of a steward to follow him downstairs, I asked him if he was kicking me out? He replied with "Follow me and you'll find F***ing out won't you." My responce of "You're kidding me right?" led to some sort of a bundle in the stairwell thing then I was somewhat forcefully dealt with by the Helmets, had a TV camera shoved in my face, searched, details taken and quite literally thrown out and gate shut. Then in Yorkeshire's best manners, told through the gates that I wouldn't be coming back. I was Beered up, but not that Beered up that I deserved that treatment for such a petty "offence". Oh, and this was after just 8 minutes of football played.

No I wasn't - I forgotten that incident! The incident I was talking about took place downstairs about 20 minutes before kick off - but I think it was the same steward involved - he was a complete k**b and was looking for a fight himself.

Palace got what they deserved, I would like to think Saints fans would have done the same to them ****y Palace ****s, had it been us in the situation.

Umm enlighten me DBP, what exactly did Palace do to deserve what happened other than supporting their team to save themselves from relegation & relegate Wednesday? I wasn't at the game so only have knowledge from the press coverage & my mates version of events. (my memory may well be hazy on this as I can't remember what they were supposed to have done)

Invading the pitch at the end and goading Sheff Weds fans who had just seen their team relegated. Some of them weren't so ****y when a few Wednesday fans come on the pitch to put them back in their stand.

ok - the reports I'd heard were that it was the Wednesday fans on pitch, assaulting Palace players and forcing them to escape through the Palace end having cut off their route to the tunnel.

But I wasn't there & haven't seen any tv evidence so don't know exactly what happened.

Who does the categorising ? Hampshire's Finest ?

They have always been a bunch of officious bastards. why is the Plymouth kick-off at 12:15, FFS ? Certainly down to them.

Sure it is Hampshire Police and not the fact it is live on Sky?

No, it's down to Sky Sports. Thay can't show 3.00pm kickoffs, so it's either late morning or early evening.

It sickens me how many thugs and pikeys we have in our support. There is a real element of this club that need to **** off and die, starting with the chavvy 12-17 year olds that sit banging at the back of the Northam and Kingsand.

Well go and support Windsor & Eton FC then, snob.

trouble at Leeds? It was more like a Born Again Christian Rally

I was dismayed at the lack of passion at that game from both sets of fans...might have been the fact that it was ****ing freezing cold.

It was no worse than any other away game last year, infact I thought it was a fairly decent atmosphere. Nice to have a bit of noise from the home fans for a change.

I'm sick of all the ****ging that goes on at the back of the stand too. Another sad indictment of Broken Britain, etc. etc. :)
